    摘要: The invention relates to a reagent consisting of at least one enzyme and at least one other substance, which are covalently or noncovalently bound to a particle, which is smaller than or is equal to 1000 Angstrom in diameter. The invention also relates to method and use of the reagent for determination or studies of a cell or a virus or another component in a sample. According to the invention, these determinations are made with for example some ELISA-technique (competitive, sandwich, etc), employing the reagent preferably in the form of a suspension in buffered water, instead of and in the same way as described for soluble enzyme conjugates. The substance can be antibody, a lectin, avidin or an antigen, the enzyme can be for example peroxidase, alcaline phosphatase, and the particle can be an inorganic or an organic polymeric compound or a combination thereof, as, for example, tresyl-activated glycerylpropyl-silica.

    摘要: Extracorporeal blood treatment is performed daily on a large number of patients by use of for example a dialysis filter, plasma filter or a centrifuge. The purpose of the treatment is to separate minor components and molecules in a liquid or in the blood from larger ones, for example in connection with different disease conditions or with a view to extracting blood plasma, target substances such as blood components or molecules from for example blood donors. According to the present invention two separation steps are used together with a solution or a suspension containing at least one component, which specifically may bind to the component or the blood component to be specifically reduced, or to be refined/extracted during the treatment or during the blood treatment.

    摘要: A method of controlling the regioselectivity of the glycosidic bond between glycosyl donor and glycosyl acceptor in the enzymatic production of an oligosaccharide compound which either consists of or is a fragment or an analog of the cabohydrate part in a glycoconjugate, by reverse hydrolysis or transglycosidation reactions, is described. The synthesis is carried out in that a donor substance which is a mono- or oligosaccharide or a glycoside thereof, is caused to react, in the presence of a glycosidase, with an acceptor substance which is an O-, N-, C- or S-glycoside consisting of a monosaccharide, oligosaccharide or a saccharide analog and at least one aglycon which is O-, N-, C- or S-glycosidically bonded in 1-position, the .alpha. or .beta.-configuration being selected on the glycoside bond between the glycosyl group and the aglycon in the acceptor substance, and the oligosaccharide compound being separated from the reaction mixture.
