    Abstract: A motor for an electronic lock. The motor drives the electronic lock between a locked position and an unlocked position. A printed circuit board is mounted onto the motor. The printed circuit board includes a motor battery that is mounted onto the printed circuit board. A lock memory device is also mounted onto the printed circuit board and keeping a record of the usage of the electronic lock. In a preferred embodiment, the motor battery is remotely mounted and is connected to the printed circuit board via a wire connection.

    Abstract: A safe. A safe lid is connected to a safe box via a hinge. A fascia assembly is connected to the safe lid and a latch assembly is connected to the safe box. The fascia assembly includes a keypad and a fascia assembly locking groove. The latch assembly includes a latch having a fascia assembly locking tab and a lock latch locking tab. The latch assembly also has a lock lever pivotally connected to the latch and the latch assembly. A motor in the latch assembly receives electrical inputs from the keypad. The latch assembly also has a key lock. A lock latch is connected to and controlled by the motor and the key lock. A lock latch reset spring is connected to the lock latch. The safe is locked when the fascia assembly locking tab is inserted into the fascia assembly locking groove and also when the lock latch locking tab is secured behind the lock latch. The safe is unlocked by entering a pass code into the key pad. This caused an electrical signal to be transmitted to the motor. The motor then operates to move the lock latch so that it releases the lock latch locking tab. The safe can also be opened by turning the key lock to move the lock latch so that it releases the lock latch locking tab.

    Abstract: A safe. A safe lid is connected to a safe box via a hinge attachment. The safe is locked shut by utilization of a latch assembly. A Nitinol wire is connected to a latch assembly opening device. The latch assembly opening device is connected to the latch assembly. A user can open the safe by inputting the correct pass code into a keypad. An electrical signal is then transferred to the Nitinol wire causing the Nitinol wire to shorten. The shortening of the Nitinol wire causes the latch assembly opening device to open the latch assembly. In a preferred embodiment a key lock is also configured to control the latch assembly opening device and the key lock may be used as another method to open the safe.

    Abstract: A safer flash-bang grenade that yields the state of the art sound intensity, plus a brighter, more intense flash of the order of 13.5 million candela—which effect is due to a combination of a particularly efficacious pyrotechnic formulation and a particular reaction chamber design that momentarily retains or holds-back the reaction escape until the desired intensity is reached. The particular pyrotechnic formulation is based upon a strontium nitrate oxidizer in conjunction with an aluminum powder metallic fuel and a sulfur non-metallic fuel.     Abstract: An electrical mechanical locking device. A lock has an outer shell with an indentation. An inner body is rotatably housed within the outer shell. A contact pin is connected to the inner body. A printed circuit board frame is rigidly connected to the inner body. A printed circuit board is attached to the printed circuit board frame. A driver arm support bracket is rigidly connected to the printed circuit board frame. A lock microprocessor is connected to the printed circuit board and electrically connected to the contact pin. The lock microprocessor is connected to a key identification code verification database. An electrical actuator is electrically connected to the lock microprocessor. A driver arm is pivotally connected to the driver arm support bracket. The electrical actuator is connected to the driver arm. A jam plate is connected to the driver arm. A jam plate return spring is connected to the jam plate and the printed circuit board frame. A locking pin is covered by the jam plate and inserted into the outer shell indentation when the electrical mechanical device is locked. When the electrical mechanical device is unlocked the locking pin is not covered by the jam plate and rises clear of the indentation. A powered key includes a key microprocessor. A battery power source is electrically connected to the key microprocessor. The key microprocessor has access to key database that includes a programmable key identification code for identifying the key. The key also includes a contact tip for insertion into the lock and for making electrical contact with the lock contact pin. In a preferred embodiment the electrical actuator is a nitinol wire.

    Abstract: An aircraft landing gear (9) includes a wheel (1) having a wheel rim (3) on which a tyre (4) is held. The gap (6) between the rim (3) and tyre (4) is bridged and covered by a sealing element (7), which thereby presents a smooth surface to the air flowing over the wheel during flight of the aircraft (8). Thus, noise that would otherwise be generated by the interaction of air and the parts of the wheel (1) and/or tyre (4) defining the gap (6) is reduced. Such noise reduction benefits may also be achieved by providing a tyre (4) and wheel (1) so shaped that there is no gap (6) between the tyre (4) and wheel rim (3).

    Abstract: A tamper resistant lock. A lock has a lock housing with housing indentation. A cylinder is rotatably housed within the housing. A locking pin is connected to the cylinder and is inserted into the housing indentation when the lock is in a locked position and the locking pin is clear of the housing indentation when the lock is in an unlocked position. An anti-tampering mechanism is positioned between the housing and the cylinder. The anti-tampering mechanism receives a user's key and also includes a relative motion hole. A key extension portion is rotatably inserted inside the anti-tampering mechanism body and includes a relative motion indentation. The key extension portion is keyed to the cylinder. A lock ball is inserted into the relative motion hole and the relative motion indention, thereby preventing relative motion between the anti-tampering mechanism body and the key extension portion. A flexible band is wrapped around the anti-tampering mechanism body and covers the lock ball and holds the lock ball in place in the relative motion hole and relative motion indentation. The flexibility of the flexible band is sufficient to permit the lock ball to leave the relative motion indentation while simultaneously retaining the lock ball in the relative motion hole if the anti-tampering mechanism body is rotated while the locking pin is inserted into the housing indentation, thereby permitting relative motion between the anti-tampering mechanism body and the key extension portion. In a preferred embodiment the tamper resistant lock is a padlock.

    Abstract: A safe anchoring device for anchoring a safe to a floor. In addition to anchoring the safe, the safe anchoring device simultaneously provides a watertight and airtight seal for the interior of the safe. A tunnel connects the interior housing to the exterior housing. Insulation is between the interior housing and the exterior housing. A removable top cover covers the tunnel on the inside of the safe at the interior housing. When the anchoring device is used to anchor the safe to the floor, a removable threaded locking bolt extends through the tunnel and is threaded onto a threaded tube section of a bottom cover while the bottom cover is securely attached to the floor. In a preferred embodiment, when the safe is anchored to the floor the watertight and airtight seal is provided by a gasket under the top cover and an O-ring under the bolt head of the threaded locking bolt. When the safe is not anchored to the floor, the threaded locking bolt is removed and the bottom cover covers the tunnel at the exterior housing. In a preferred embodiment, when the safe is not anchored to the floor the watertight and airtight seal is provided by gaskets under the top cover and the bottom cover.
