    摘要: The rectifier arrangement, preferably for a three-phase generator for a motor vehicle, has at least one power diode of positive polarity and at least one power diode of negative polarity assigned to respective half waves of each phase of the three-phase current and a cooling arrangement for the power diodes, the power diodes of like polarity being arranged on respective heat sinks in an electrically and thermally conductive fashion, and the heat sinks being sandwiched together with at least one electrically insulating part (32) which contains the electrical conductors between the diodes and the three-phase winding. The electrically conductive connections of the power diodes (12, 14) of positive and negative polarity to the phases (U, V, W) of the three-phase generator extend within the electrically insulating part (32) so that electrical contact is made with the power diodes (12, 14) of positive and negative polarities in respective cavities (40, 44) in the insulating part (32) via in each case one spring element. A punched grid (34) for each of the phases (U, V, W) extends in the cavities and includes conductor tracks (50) and spring elements (48, 49) for making electrical contact between pairs of power diodes of opposite polarity and each phase.

    摘要: A thrust bearing for constraining axial movement of the shaft of a turbocharger is made from two separate components which are assembled together, thereby simplifying manufacturing since no drilling is required. The components each include cooperating contoured surfaces for forming the oil feed holes which extend between the working surfaces of the thrust bearing, the oil feed passages, which communicate oil to the oil feed holes, and an oil gallery, which communicates oil to the oil feed passages. The oil gallery is entirely internal to the turbocharger, thereby minimizing oil side leakage. The gallery is fed from the turbocharger lubricating oil supply through an aperture extending through one of the sides of the thrust bearing in communication with the gallery.

    摘要: A device and a method for detecting and distinguishing between shelf-forming supports in cassettes and disk-shaped objects deposited thereon are provided for increasing accuracy in the determination of the position of shelves and objects as well as reliability of detection in distinguishing between cassette types without a disruptive influence being exerted on the objects by the inserted protective supports. The objects and different types of supports for the objects which are distinguished through an offset arrangement in the measurement plane pass through measurement beam bundles with their end sides, wherein each of the measurement beam bundles is situated in the region of only one type of support. The extension of the end sides of the supports in the measurement plane is completely detected by the measurement beam bundle. The device is used for the fabrication of integrated circuits.

    摘要: A turbocharger includes a turbine housing with a variable geometry mechanism which controls the flow area of the throat through which motive exhaust gasses are communicated to the turbine wheel. The turbine housing is provided with an insert which defines one wall of the throat and which is cast in place as part of the turbine housing. The insert may be made of a relative expensive, high nickel content material to assure that a non-corrosive surface is provided adjacent to the vanes which are pivotally actuated to vary the area of the throat. The remainder of the housing is made of a standard ductile iron which is substantially less expensive than the more expensive corrosive resistant high nickel content material from which the insert is manufactured.
