The polymer compound of the present invention which contains a poly- or oligo-carbonate group and is preferably obtained by utilizing a polymerization reaction using a polymerizable functional group represented by formula (2) and/or formula (3) below: exhibits good strength even when it is formed into a thin film and has high ion conductivity and excellent workability. By the use of this polymer compound, solid polymer electrolyte, battery and/or electric double layer capacitor having high-temperature characteristics and large current characteristics are provided.

A control board connected to a main body of a computer, which has access to an optical recording medium through an optical recording medium read/write device, and for controlling and enabling the optical recording medium read/write device to have access to the optical recording medium in the same manner as an existing magnetic disk device and the like have with respect to a magnetic medium. This control board is composed of a directory development processing station, various types of interface processing stations, a retrieval processing station, a data transfer/receiving processing station, a data input/output processing station and a directory update processing station. It is possible to have access as easily to the optical recording medium as to other existing media by using commands, I/O functions, and so on in the computer body. Furthermore, compared with access to the optical recording medium read/write device by only use of software installed in the computer body, the burden on the computer body is reduced in connection with memory size and processing time.

A solid electrolyte capacitor comprising an anode with a valve action composed of a metal material or a conductive oxide and having a dielectric layer, a solid electrolyte and a conductive layer, formed in this order on the surface thereof, characterized in that said conductive layer comprises conductive powders which have a particle diameter distribution wherein at least two peaks of particle diameter are present, and the minimum peak particle diameter thereof is in the range of larger than 100 nm but not larger than 1 μm. The conductive powder preferably has at least one peak having a particle size 8 to 75 times the minimum peak of particle size. The solid electrolyte capacitor has very low equivalent series resistance (ESR).

An optical recording medium which is capable of easily effecting a tracking operation in the writing/reading for an optical recording medium of a type in which a plurality of data record tracks and provided, in a recording region of the medium, so as to be disposed side by side and spaced from each other at predetermined intervals. The optical recording medium of the present invention comprising at least one home position setting mark for setting a reference position for each of the data record tracks so that the writing/reading of data may be carried out by using the home position setting mark as a reference. The home position setting mark may have track position marks at positions corresponding to the respective data record tracks for indicating the positions of the respective data record tracks. At least two tracking position indicative marks may further be spacedly provided on an extension of each of the data record tracks or a line parallel therewith for indicating an effective tracking position for each of the data record tracks.

A solid electrolytic capacitor containing a solid electrolytic capacitor element with increased heat resistance, resistance to leakage current, and a low ESR and high reliability, includes a solid electrolytic capacitor element having a dielectric layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a carbon paste layer, and a conductive paste layer sequentially stacked on a surface of a valve acting metal plate, where the carbon paste layer has an end thereof on the solid electrolyte layer, the end of the carbon paste layer is covered with an insulating resin layer, and the largest thickness of the capacitor element in the section of the insulating resin layer is not more than the largest thickness of the capacitor element in the section of the conductive paste layer. A manufacturing method is also described.

1. A niobium powder for capacitors, wherein the chromium content is 50 ppm by mass or less, granulated product and sintered body thereof, and producing method of those; 2. a capacitor constructed by one part electrode formed of the niobium sintered body, another part electrode and a dielectric material interposed between two electrodes, and its producing method; and 3. an electronic circuit and electronic device using the capacitor. A capacitor having good voltage resistance properties can be manufactured by using the niobium sintered body for capacitors of the present invention, wherein the chromium content is 50 ppm by mass or less.
