摘要： A light detector which indicates decrease in the level of ambient light below a prescribed value. The light detector includes a light indicator for radiating light when the level of ambient light decreases below the prescribed value, a light sensor arranged parallel to the light indicator for receiving actual light including ambient light and light from the light indicator for outputting a detection signal corresponding to a level of actual light, and a control circuit for evading effect of the light from the light indicator for controlling the operation of the light indicator while ambient light is below the prescribed level even though the actual light received by the light sensor increases above the prescribed level.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a baseless incandescent lamp assembly comprises a step for holding a flattened seal section of a baseless incandescent lamp between a pair of holding members, a step for inserting the holding members into a lamp holding chamber of a main socket body while keeping the flattened seal action of the baseless incandescent lamp between the holding members, and a step for softening part of said main socket body by heating to deform the same, thereby forming caulked portions to prevent the inserted holding members from slipping out of the lamp holding chamber.

摘要： A socket has a bulb insertion cavity into which a sealed section of a baseless lamp is inserted. The socket is mounted to a mounting base by being inserted through an insertion hole thereof and then turned in a predetermined direction. The socket has a pair of contact members disposed in the insertion cavity. Each contact member has a power supply terminal, and a contact protuberance is formed on the free end of the terminal. The protuberance has a flat top surface being in contact with a printed wiring on the mounting base, a first inclined side surface extending from the top surface toward the base end of the terminal, a second inclined side surface extending from the top surface in the turning direction of the socket, and third and fourth inclined side surfaces opposite to the first and second surfaces, respectively. The first and second surfaces are inclined more gently than the third and fourth surfaces.
