Abstract:
A slide rail device for a seat, of the type mounted laterally of a seat cushion frame, which comprises an upper rail member fixed to the lateral side of the seat cushion frame, a lower rail member fixed to a floor, a seat belt anchor provided between the upper and lower rail members, and an engagement element. When a great degree of inwardly slant upward pulling force is applied via the seat belt anchor to the upper rail member, the engagement element effects an engagement action in response to at least one of upward and inward component forces composed by such inwardly slant upward pulling force, so that an intensive stress produced between the upper and lower rail members may be dispersed to the engagement element. Further, the upper and lower rail members are formed from a lightweight material with a reinforcing element to have a lightweight yet robust structure.
Abstract:
There is provided a process for the production of a photosensitive plate for printing which comprises providing a given amount of a fine powder having a constant directional size of 0.5-40 .mu. from a dust supplier directly or via a distributor to a cyclone, feeding the said powder together with a small volume of air from the bottom of said cyclone, uniformly dispersing and adhering the so flowed fine powder onto the surface of a continuously running photosensitive plate for printing.
Abstract:
A structure of a casing for covering a stay of a cantilever-type headrest, in which the headrest is supported via the stay on a seat back of an automotive seat in a cantilever way, and the casing, which covers the stay, has a flat abutment surface formed at the upper end thereof which is abutted against one lateral wall of the headrest body, the flat abutment surface being formed with a cut-away portion for defining an opening therein. Hence, a region of such one lateral wall of headrest body, against which is abutted the flat abutment surface of the casing, is upheaved within the opening, so as to create plural undesired wrinkles only at that region and thus interiorly of the casing, which prevents the wrinkles from appearing on the outer surface of headrest body around the casing.
Abstract:
An arrangement of an unlocking knob in an automotive seat, wherein a rod is provided, with its one base portion being connected with a lock means in the seat, while its another free end portion is so formed as to define therein a raised portion and a horizontally expanded hook-like latch portion, and wherein the unlocking includes a securing portion which has, formed therein, a recessed groove of a shape generally identical to that of the hook-like latch portion of the rod, such that the free end portion of rod is inserted into and latchingly secured in the recessed groove of unlocking knob securing protion. The recessed groove includes a sloped upper edge for facilitating the ease with which the free end portion of rod is engaged in the recessed groove.
Abstract:
A seat belt drawing angle adjusting device provided on the upper end part of a seat back, comprising a housing, a seat belt retractor supported within the housing, a seat belt guide member rotatably supported in the housing and a lock mechanism for locking and unlocking the guide member. The guide member has, formed therein, a slit through which a seat belt passes from the retractor to the outside, and is so arranged as to be vertically movable, thereby allowing vertical displacement of the slit. Hence, the seat belt can be adjusted at lower or higher level in relation to its drawing point.
Abstract:
There is provided a process for preparing a photosensitive plate for printing which comprises providing a heat-depositable fine powder having a constant directional size of 0.5-40.mu. onto the surface of a photosensitive plate for printing at a ratio of 0.005-0.5 g. of the said powder per m.sup.2 of the said plate to uniformly disperse and adhere the said powder onto the said surface, while preheating the right side (side on which powder adheres) and/or the reverse side of the said plate upon providing said powder or before or after providing, and subsequently contacting the right side of the said plate with a heating roll having a high releasing surface, whereby the said fine powder is fused and fixed on onto the surface of the said plate.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for forming a compound by mixing at least two components, which comprises the steps of:circulating a specific component along a circulation route; andmixing the specific component with a second component different from the specific component by flowing the second component different from the specific component in the middle of the circulation route under specific mixing conditions to form a compound during circulation, wherein the mixing conditions are controlled so that the mixing conditions are changed accompanied with increase in a formation amount of the compound.
Abstract:
A dampening water feed roller, characterized by a process of manufacturing which comprises forming a flame sprayed layer of a ceramic material composed of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, TiO.sub.2, or a mixture of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and TiO.sub.2 on the peripheral surface of a metallic roller, subjecting the flame sprayed ceramic layer to a pore-occluding treatment with a hydrophilic SiO.sub.2 type inorganic pore-occluding agent, and grinding the treated layer to surface roughness of not more than 1.6 S. The roller permits supply of the dampening water without using the additives such as isopropyl alcohol in the dampening water.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of crystallizing coupler crystals, the method comprising the steps of dissolving crude crystals of a coupler in a first solvent having a first solubility parameter to obtain a coupler solution; and adding to the solution a second solvent having a second solubility parameter different from the first solubility parameter, when the crystallization rate in the solution is 5 to 30 weight % of crystals having a BET value of 10 m.sup.2 /g or less.
Abstract:
A ventilated seat, in which air is flowed through a duct by means of a fan, and the air is effectively applied to an aromatic in a tray placed in the duct so as to emit a good smell from an air outlet hole on the surface of the seat.
