摘要: Welding is conducted by rolling a roller electrode of a roller-type resistance welder while contacting an electrode surface of the roller electrode against an outer edge of the mask frame via the shadow mask. This method eliminates the need for complex control, and allows smooth and reliable welding at predetermined positions with a simple configuration. By forming the weld nugget on the side of the edge, a flat portion remains when the shadow mask is torn off the mask frame in case of a failure of the shadow mask. Thus, a second welding with a flat portion of the original height is possible, and the mask frame can be reused with the same precision for the welding position.

摘要: Making method for a phosphor layer of a small diameter cathode ray tube comprises application of a centrifugal force of above 100G in a direction parallel to the axis of a glass bulb toward its bottom panel to become a face plate, thereby forcedly making sedimentation of phosphor powder onto the inner surface of the bottom panel, and thus, by adoptation of the centrifugal force, a phosphor layer of very fine and dense configuration and uniform thickness is obtainable even using such small medium grain size of phosphor powder of under 4 .mu.m.

摘要: A time slot selection device is provided that can consider resource use states on its own and allocate time slots. The time slot selection device performs time slot allocation, based on data link identifiers that identify a group of data links specified by a path setup request, a time slot size that is information about a required band, and a required number that is the number of contiguous time slots required. In this time slot selection device, a resource allocation section performs time slot selection, based on the resource use state of each time slot. By the time slot selection with consideration given to the use state of each time slot in the group of data links, time slots to be used can be selected so that a maximum number of contiguous usable time slots will be left. Thus, it is possible to efficiently use resources.
