The monoclonal antibodies are prepared by immunizing an animal with pieces of epithelial tissue from human prostate as an antigen, fusing antibody-producing cells of the animal with myeloma cells, selecting a hybridoma which produces the antibody, cultivating the hybridoma and recovering the antibody. The monoclonal antibodies have utility for histological examination for metastatic nests in prostatic cancer, preoperative examination in prostatic cancer, diagnosis of prostatic cancer.
