Abstract:
A heat storage tank, comprises an inner cylinder 81 having a storage section 811 for storing liquid, an opening 812 at a lower position of the storage section 811 and a body 84 in which a liquid inflow channel 841 and a liquid outflow channel 842 are formed. The body blocks the opening 812. When the inner diameter of the inner cylinder 81 is referred to as a tank inner diameter D and the vertical length of the storage section 811 is referred to as a tank height H, D/H≦0.5 holds. Therefore, the storage section 811 is elongated in the vertical direction and the distance between the body 84, which is a main heat radiating portion, and the high temperature water region is increased and, as a result, the high temperature water region is extended in the vertical direction.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric ceramic device is heated so that the temperature is increased to a temperature in the vicinity of the maximum temperature at which the device, when the temperature is returned to ordinary temperature, is returned to substantially the same piezoelectric characteristic before heating. In the state that the piezoelectric ceramic device is heated, and the temperature is increased, at least one of the piezoelectric phase characteristic and the impedance characteristic of the piezoelectric ceramic device is measured. The measurement is compared with a standard characteristic, whereby an internal defect of the piezoelectric ceramic device is detected, based on results of the comparison. For the heating and temperature-increasing, and the measuring, a high frequency measurement signal having a power level that is higher than the rated level of the piezoelectric ceramic device is applied, and simultaneously with the piezoelectric ceramic device itself being dielectric-heated by the application of the high frequency signal, at least one of the piezoelectric phase characteristic and the impedance characteristic is measured.
Abstract:
An automobile air-conditioning system in which a single ventilation unit for supplying the conditioned air to a compartment is divided into two parts, and the air passing through each part is adapted to be controlled respectively. The compartment is divided into at least three air-conditioning zones of the front right, front left and rear seat zones so that a plurality of air outlets may supply air to the respective air-conditioning zones. The air respectively temperature-controlled is selectively supplied to each of the air outlets.
Abstract:
The invention provides a pin assembly and Implements connecting apparatus which can replace a working device such as a bucket or the like easily and for a short time. A first member (20) having a pair of brackets (18, 19) is connected to a second member (22) having a boss portion (21). First member (20) and second member (21) are connected so as to swing freely and mutually by inserting a pin assembly (17) having an outer tubular body (15) and a connection pin (16) rotatably connected thereto into one bracket (18), boss portion (21) and another bracket (19). In a connected state, outer tubular body (15) and boss portion (21) are fixed. Pin assembly (17) can be pulled out by applying a pressing force to an opposite side in an inserting direction of pin assembly (17).

Abstract:
To permit smooth performance of both of an operation requiring a high pressure and an operation desired to produce a pressure at a suppressed level, a shuttle block 50 positioned between pilot operating units 35-37 and flow control valves 5-15 and pump regulators 28a,28b is arranged in association with shuttle valves 61-63,65-75, which select maximum pressures of groups of operation signal pressures produced by the pilot operating units 35-37, respectively, and at least one of the plural groups of operation signals, and is constructed to include hydraulic selector valves 81,82 and a boom-lowering, hydraulic selector valve 83. The hydraulic selector valves 81,82 are operated based on the maximum pressures to produce control signal pressures from a pressure of a pilot pump 2. The boom-lowering, hydraulic selector valve 83 is operated based on an operation signal pressure Dd relating to a single boom-lowering operation among the operation signal pressures produced by the pilot operating units 35-37 to produce a boom-lowering, control signal pressure from the pressure of the pilot pump 2.
Abstract:
A method for accurately measuring the insulation resistance of a capacitor while reducing time taken for the measurement. To this end, a current calculation equation is first obtained based on an equivalent circuit of a capacitor; then, the calculation equation is modified or corrected based on the degree of coincidence between an actually measured current value m(t) and a calculated current value i(t), the former being within a charge-up region of a dielectric polarization component upon initial application of a voltage; next, the current value at a time point of chargeup termination is predicted or estimated by use of this modified calculation equation.
