    摘要: Provided is a small-size thin piezoelectric actuator which can be mounted on a mobile electronic device and operate with a low power consumption also provided is an electronic device which uses the piezoelectric actuator to provide a function to give a contact feeling of a three dimensional movement to a users hand palm. The piezoelectric actuator (1) includes: a piezoelectric ceramic oscillator having a piezoelectric ceramic thin plate (5) bonded to at least one surface of a shim member (6); at least one holder (7) for holding the shim member (6); and a sheet-shaped elastic body (2). Vibration generated by the piezoelectric ceramic oscillator is transmitted via the holder (7) and the sheet-shaped elastic body (2) to a case (3) of the electronic device.

    摘要: A piezoelectric actuator 60 includes a piezoelectric element 10 expanding and contracting according to a state of an electric field, a pedestal 20, a vibration film 30, and a support member. In the vibration mode of the divided vibration occurring in the piezoelectric actuator in a high frequency band, one or more reinforcement members 50 are selectively disposed on an upper surface or a lower surface of the piezoelectric element 10, in a region where a node of divided vibration occurs. With such configurations, the vibration mode can be changed in the piezoelectric element 10. Therefore, in the frequency sound pressure level characteristics, the divided vibration causing hills or valleys (peaks or dips) can be effectively suppressed, thus enabling the achievement of flatness of frequency sound pressure level characteristics and of reproduction of excellent sound.

The case 110 comprises an electrode having a surface exposed to the outside, on at least a part of the case 110. The oscillator 171 outputs an A.C. voltage signal. One end of the passive element 172 is connected to the oscillator 171, and the other end is connected to the electrode. The voltage measurement circuit 173 is connected to both ends of the passive element 172, and detects the voltage applied to the passive element 172. The control unit 180 acquires the biological information of a living body based on the voltage detected by the voltage measurement circuit 173 in a state in which an A.C. output from the oscillator 171 and the electrode exposed to the outside is in contact with the living body.
