Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a process for producing three-dimensional, self-supporting and/or substrate-supported formed pieces or structures on surfaces by means of site-selective solidification of a liquid to pasty, organic or organically modified material within a bath consisting of this material by means of two- or multiphoton polymerization, whereby the material has at least one compound that has both an organic radical polymerizable via two-photon or multiphoton polymerization and a biocompatible, biodegradable or bioresorbable group, and/or wherein the bath material additionally contains groups or radicals, which are available for an inorganic crosslinking or which are already inorganically crosslinked, providing that both an organic radical polymerizable via two-photon or multiphoton polymerization and a biocompatible, biodegradable or bioresorbable group must be contained in the material. The formed pieces or surface structures according to the present invention are suitable as matrices for binding live cells, which can be multiplied after that or stimulated for the production of specific substances. They can be used, e.g., as an extracorporeal [sic—Tr.Ed.] matrix or as an implant.

An adjustably mounted spray nozzle (4) for windshield washer fluid of a motor vehicle is designed to be easy to install and adjust. To this end, the spray nozzle (4) has the following features: it has a bearing axis (7) by means of which it can be attached to a vehicle in a manner that enables it to pivot about a y-axis of said vehicle; the spray nozzle (4) is provided with an adjusting-means element for pivoting about its bearing axis (7); the adjusting-means element is designed to cooperate with an adjusting-drive manipulator.

A method of connecting a plastic workpiece to a further workpiece and a device for carrying out the method are shown and described. The object of providing a method with which a positive-locking connection between a plastic workpiece and a further workpiece can be produced in a short time and without considerable outlay in terms of apparatus is achieved by a method comprising the following steps: providing a plastic workpiece and a further workpiece, placing the further workpiece against the plastic workpiece, providing a connecting element on a surface of the plastic workpiece, this surface being opposite the surface against which the further workpiece bears, producing a recess in the further workpiece, this recess being provided on the surface bearing against the plastic workpiece, heating the connecting element, so that the material of the connecting element is plasticized, and pressing plasticized material into the recess.

Abstract:
A spray nozzle assembly of a window washing system, especially for a windshield (2), of a vehicle, comprising two closely adjacent spray nozzles (4) that are in particular provided in a common spray nozzle module and are individually adjustable in terms of their spraying direction, is designed to permit optimal window cleaning with the least possible impairment of visibility during the operation of the window washing system, while affording a streamlined design for the window washing system, that is, one in which the window (2) is cluttered with as few individual elements as possible. To this end, one such spray nozzle assembly has the following features: the two spray nozzles (4) are configured as mist spraying nozzles operative to produce spray-mist fans (5, 6) whose respective apices are located in the associated spray nozzle opening; both spray nozzles (4) can be supplied with washing fluid for simultaneous spraying; and the spray-mist fans (5, 6) producible by said spray nozzles (4) are disposed at least for the most part horizontally adjacently, based on a vertical projection of the window (2) to be cleaned.
Abstract:
A method of connecting a metallic bolt to a plastic work piece is shown and described. The object to provide a method which makes possible a reliable connection between metal workpieces on the one hand and plastic workpieces on the other hand is achieved in that a first plastic work piece and a metallic bolt are provided, and in that the bolt is pressed into a surface of the first plastic workpiece, the bolt being rotated during the pressing-in, and the rotational speed of the bolt being selected in such a way that the first plastic workpiece is plasticized, so that the bolt is anchored in the first plastic workpiece in a positive-locking manner after the rotation is stopped.
