    摘要: A fuel injector has a valve needle that has a maximum diameter at a flow-off edge, and a valve seat acting together with the valve needle using a sealing seat, the valve seat widening, starting from the sealing seat up to a discharge edge, and the flow-off edge of the valve needle being offset backwards, in relation to the flow direction, with respect to the discharge edge of the valve seat, when the fuel injector is closed. The flow-off edge of the valve needle is offset backwards with respect to the discharge edge of the valve seat in a predetermined range of 2 micrometers to 20 micrometers, in the direction of a longitudinal valve axis.

    摘要: Damping elements for a fuel injection valve insertable into a receiving conduit of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine are disposed between a valve housing of the fuel injection valve and a wall of the receiving conduit of the cylinder head. These damping elements, inter alia, decrease acoustic transfer from the fuel injection valve to the cylinder head. It is disadvantageous that conventional damping elements require a great deal of axial installation space with respect to a valve axis and have comparatively high manufacturing costs. With the damping element according to example embodiments of the present invention, the installation space required is reduced. Provision is made, according to example embodiments of the present invention, for the damping element to be in plate-shaped fashion.

    摘要: A fuel injector, e.g., an injector for fuel injection devices in internal combustion engines, has a valve needle with a valve-closure member which cooperates with a valve seat surface in a valve seat body to form a sealing seat, in which the valve seat body has a plurality of injection orifices that are isolated from the fuel supply by sealing seat. The valve-closure member has a pressure element in a recess facing the valve seat body, which is pre-tensioned against the valve seat body by a spring which is supported on the valve-closure member and presses a disc spring against the valve seat body, in such manner that the disc spring covers at least one of the injection orifices, and the spring element uncovers this injection orifice when the tension exerted by the pressure element is removed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a side-channel pump having an intake cover (10), which is used in pumping fuel in a motor vehicle. The intake cover (10) has a side channel (11), extending radially about a pivot point (14) in the intake cover (10), a first opening (13) for an intake channel (27) of the side channel (11) and a constant side channel width (BSK) in a portion extending circumferentially. The side channel (11) has a side channel width (BSK) in the top side (8) that is constant, as seen from a beginning (12) of the side channel (11), already at a value of a first angle (&phgr;) of between 0 and preferably approximately 5 and at most 20 , referred to a line (LB) through the pivot axis (14) and through a contact point (1) at the beginning (12). This makes for better hot-gasoline performance, increased efficiency, and a higher pressure ratio of the side-channel pump. The intake cover is suitable in particular for a dual-flow side-channel pump.

At least one spring element directly or indirectly exerts pressure on the flexible section from the outside, via fixed components.
