    摘要: Provided is a spreading code generating apparatus using a jacket matrix, a method thereof, and a code channel spreading device using the same. The present research provides an apparatus for generating a spread quasi-orthogonal function, which is a spreading code, by using a jacket matrix and a known short bent sequence, a method thereof, and a code channel spreading device that can acquire a minimum level of transmission power and a fine multiple access error probability in a multi-user system. The apparatus includes: a spreading code generating block for generating a spreading code by using a jacket matrix; and a spreading block for spreading external user data by using the spreading code, wherein the jacket matrix is an orthogonal matrix where an inverse matrix for a square matrix of a predetermined size having elements without zero includes inverses and transposes on an element basis.

    摘要: Provided are a method for generating a two-dimensional orthogonal variable spreading code and a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system using the same. The MIMO system can increase a communication capacity in an asynchronous multiple user system as well as a synchronous system in a wideband-Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). The MIMO system includes: a transmitting block for temporally and spatially encoding a plurality of user data, spreading the user data into orthogonal channel signals, and transmitting them to antennas; and a receiving block for receiving the orthogonal channel signals and performing temporal and spatial decoding and despreading on them. Herein, the transmitting block includes: a space time code (STC) encoding unit for generating and outputting a predetermined number of STC streams; and a jacket orthogonal variable spreading function (JOVSF) channel code spreading unit for spreading the STC streams into orthogonal channel signals by using a JOVSF.

    摘要: A two-port memory cell design which permits simultaneous reading and writing of cells which are on the same wordline but on different Bit Select lines without increase in Read Access Time, and while maintaining memory functionality at low voltages. The memory cell uses a standard 6 transistor design to provide a differential read for fast access plus another three transistors are added to each cell to provide a means of differentially writing the cell and de-gating the write if the bit-select is not active. This cell design has applicability to multi-port memories as well.

However, this performance enhancement is achievable through considerable signal processing (precoding/decoding) at relay nodes.
