    摘要: A hydrodynamic bearing apparatus and a method for manufacturing a hydrodynamic bearing apparatus consists of providing a shaft and rotatably fitting the shaft to a bearing. Hydrodynamic pressure generating grooves are cut on the bearing surface of either the bearing or the shaft. The bearing surface that has the hydrodynamic pressure generating grooves thereon faces another bearing surface so that the bearing and shaft rotate with respect to one another, and the bearing or the shaft that has a bearing surface having the hydrodynamic pressure generating grooves is comprised of a thick main body member and a thin sleeve fitted to the main body member. The thin sleeve is thinner and made of a softer material than the main body member, the thin sleeve is evenly deformed, and the hydrodynamic pressure generating grooves are cut on a surface of the thin sleeve.

A mask member having at least two sets of grooves provided at least two places along an axial direction is affixed to an outer surface of an electrode section of a fluid bearing manufacturing tool. Each of the groove sets consists of multiple grooves in a shape corresponding to designed fluid bearing grooves on a work piece, such as, for example, a sleeve section of the fluid bearing. The fluid bearing manufacturing tool is inserted into a hole created in the work piece, wherein a power source for electrolytic machining is connected between the fluid bearing manufacturing tool and the work piece. An electrolytic solution between the manufacturing tool and the work piece is allowed to flow to form fluid bearing grooves on an inner surface of the work piece through electrolytic machining.

    摘要: A manufacturing tool is inserted in a hole formed in a work piece for forming a fluid bearing groove on an inner peripheral surface of the hole. A tool shaft is rotated in the hole while being moved in an axial direction thereof. A plurality of balls are rotatably supported on an outer peripheral face of the tool shaft. The balls are to be abutted against the inner peripheral surface of the hole to form the fluid bearing groove thereon in accordance with the movement of the tool shaft. A retainer is detachably fitted on the outer peripheral face of the tool shaft so as to retain the balls on the tool shaft. A fixing member is detachably fitted with the tool shaft so as to fix the retainer on the tool shaft. The balls can be replaced when the fixing member and the retainer is detached from the tool shaft.

    摘要: A music box comprises a comb having vibrating teeth, a drum having elements for plucking the comb for playing music, a driving source for rotating the drum, a speed governor for regulating rotation speed and a frame for supporting the comb, drum, driving source and speed governor. The speed governor further comprises an accelerating train having two worms and a control device provided on a last row of the accelerating train. A position maintaining element is integrally arranged with the frame for preventing at least the first worm positioned on the driving source side, of the two worms referred to, from moving in the thrust direction. In one form, the music box has a driving source which includes a spring. One end of the spring is engaged with a winding shaft arranged in a spring housing of the spring and the other end is engaged with an engagement section provided on the frame. A contact section is formed on the frame for preventing the other end of the spring engaged with the engagement section from moving out of the spring housing.

The method uses a masking member having through-hole patterns that correspond to the shapes of concave parts to be formed in the workpiece. The masking member is brought in contact with a machining surface of the workpiece. An electrolytic solution is supplied and allowed to flow in the gap between the masking member and an electrode tool. The electrolytic solution is allowed to enter into and flow within the through-hole patterns of the masking member in order to electrolytically machine surfaces of the workpiece only in the through-hole patterns.
