    摘要: Disclosed is a gas generant composition for a gas actuator used for activating a safety device, which contains (A) a nitrogen-containing organic compound, (B) a metal nitrate and/or a perchlorate, (C) a water-soluble polymer binder, and (D) a magnetic material. When compared with the conventional gas generant compositions, this gas generant composition is excellent in combustibility under low pressure conditions and reduced in CO gas generation during combustion. In this gas generant composition, (D) the magnetic material is preferably composed of a magnetic iron oxide. It is also preferable that (A) the nitrogen-containing organic compound is composed of one or more substances selected from nitroguanidine, guanidine nitrate, bitetrazole, azobistetrazole and 5-aminotetrazole; (B) the metal nitrate is composed of a metal salt selected from alkali metals and alkaline earth metals, while the perchlorate is composed of ammonium perchlorate or potassium perchlorate; (C) the water-soluble polymer binder is composed of a mixture of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) and a polyacrylamide; and (D) the magnetic iron oxide has a spinel crystal structure.

    摘要: There are provided a pharmaceutical raw material capable of exhibiting a uniform functionality and producing magnetic particle-containing drugs for diagnosis and medical treatments with a high reproducibility. The pharmaceutical raw material comprises a monodisperse colloid sterile aqueous solution of magnetic iron oxide fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5 to 30 nm, a saturation magnetization of 50 to 90 Am2/kg and a coercive force of 0.1 to 1.6 kA/m. The pharmaceutical raw material can be produced by forming magnetic iron oxide fine particles in the form of a colloid aqueous solution, purifying the resultant colloid aqueous solution of superparamagnetic iron oxide particles by water-washing and removing water-soluble salts by-produced upon the reaction from the reaction solution by an ordinary method, and replacing a dispersing medium of the purified colloid aqueous solution with ultrapure water.

    摘要: The magneto rheological fluid of the present invention comprises magnetic particles, a dispersing medium and polyethyleneoxide as a viscosity modifier, the polyethyleneoxide being contained in an amount of 0.5 to 5% by weight based on the weight of the magnetic particles. The magneto rheological fluid of the present invention can exhibit an excellent dispersion stability, and, more specifically, can exhibit an excellent dispersion stability and can be prevented from suffering from sedimentation of magnetic particles contained therein.

    摘要: Composite magnetic compacts having good conductivity and excellent mechanical and magnetic properties and their forming methods. The composite magnetic compacts are basically made by forming mixtures consisting essentially of 1 to 50 percent by weight of a magnetic powder and the remaining percentage of a powder of superplastic Zn-22Al alloy. A drop in the strength of the compacts that occurs when the mixing percentage of the magnetic powder increases is made up for by the impregration of plastic in the compacts or the simpler addition of a plastic powder to the mixture of the powders of magnetic material and superplastic Zn-22Al alloy. The forming methods of the composite magnetic compacts are carried out at different temperatures and under different conditions depending on the composition of the powder mixtures and so on.
