    摘要: A thin-film magnetic head comprising a substrate formed of a material having an electric resistivity of not higher than 150 ohm-cm and an electromagnetic transducer unit, the transducer unit is formed on the substrate and comprises a lower magnetic film directly attached to the substrate, a magnetic gap layer, a coil conductor layer, at least an insulating layer and an upper magnetic layer. The lower magnetic film is formed as a flat surface extending over the coil conductor layer, and parts, neighboring the magnetic gap region, of the end face directed to the recording medium are receded with the insulating layer being inorganic material.

    摘要: A magnetically recordable photographic film has perforations each being in at least one side edge region of the film lying between adjacent image areas (frames). A magnetic recording track region extends throughout the overall length of the side edge region adjacent to each frame in at least one side edge of the film. Camera information is recorded on the side edge track region. Information is read and rewrote on the film in camera. Film information is recorded on the leading end of film, and recording extension may be provided additionally. The film information is read and recorded on the film for each of the frames. Signals for clock and data are based on three-bit encoded data, and a pulse period can be varied depending on film transport speed. Such signals may be selected to have a frequency corresponding to the film transport speed.

    摘要: In a case where a frame image possessing an amount of data greater than a predetermined amount is recorded on a magnetic tape using a multiplicity of tracks, on which tracks the data has been recorded is made clear. Image data composed of 1,400,000 pixels, which is four times that of the conventional number of 350,000 pixels, is obtained. Since the image data has an amount of data that is four times that in a frame image when photography is performed using the conventional 350,000-pixel CCD, the image data is recorded in a video recording area one frame at a time on ten tracks per frame, for a total of forty tracks. Auxiliary-area recording data representing on which tracks the recorded image data has been recorded and the manner in which the recorded image has been partitioned is recorded in an auxiliary recording area. When an image is reproduced, one frame of a still picture is produced after reference is made to the auxiliary-area recording data that has been recorded in the auxiliary recording area. An image can be reproduced promptly even though an image having a large amount of data is recorded on the recording tape upon being partitioned.
