    摘要: A connector includes a plurality of terminal metal fittings that are arranged in parallel to one another and respectively have electric wire connection sections to which electric wires are electrically connected, and a connector housing that accommodates the plurality of terminal metal fittings therein. The plurality of terminal metal fittings are configured that the lengths of the electric wire connection sections are made longer in accordance with the arrangement thereof from one side toward the other side in an arrangement direction of the plurality of terminal metal fittings. The electric wires are connected to the electric wire connection sections respectively so that the electric wires extend from one end portions of the electric wire connection sections toward the one side and intersect with a longitudinal direction of the electric wire connection section.

The electrical contact portion includes: a pair of walls arranged in parallel to each other, which the insert portion is inserted between; and a plurality of elastic pieces provided at one wall of the pair of walls so as to be formed projecting from the one wall to the other wall of the pair of walls, and pushing the insert portion toward the other wall so as to hold the insert portion between the plurality of elastic pieces and the other wall. The plurality of elastic pieces is arranged in parallel to each other at an interval along an insertion direction of the insert portion.

    摘要: A shielded connector is provided, by which the performance of electromagnetic shielding and grounding between the connector and a connector-mounting wall of ground side is improved. The shielded connector includes: a first connector having a first inner housing for receiving a first terminal connected to a shielded wire and an electrically conductive shielding shell, which is coated on the outer circumference of the first inner housing and connected to a shielded part of the shielded wire; and a second connector having an electrically conductive shielded terminal resiliently coming in contact with the outer circumference of the shielding shell, an electrically conductive outer housing coming in contact with the shielded terminal for receiving the shielded terminal, a second inner housing inserted in the outer housing, a second terminal inserted in the second inner housing, and an electrically conductive connecting member, which is integrally formed with the outer housing and fixed on a connector-mounting wall of ground side with fixing means. The shielding shell, the shielded terminal, the outer housing and the connecting member are made of non-magnetic material.

Accordingly, in a multi-polar shielded connector, the number of component parts can be reduced, the structure can be simplified, a size reduction can be made possible, and manufacturing costs can be decreased.

    摘要: There is provided a method of integrally molding a connector in which the number of components can be reduced, and productivity can be enhanced.The method of integrally molding a connector according to the invention includes a first step of injection molding elastic resin 15 around a connection part 9 and an end part of a cover part 5 of an electric wire which is positioned adjacent to the connection part 9 thereby to bond the cover part 5 and the elastic resin 15 to each other, and a second step of injection molding resin 17 around the elastic resin 15 so as to compress the elastic resin 15 thereby to press-fit the elastic resin 15 to a terminal 11, and at the same time, to bond the elastic resin 15 and the resin 17 to each other.

    摘要: A male terminal comprises an electrical contact portion and an insulating member made of insulating material. The electrical contact portion is inserted into and connected to a female terminal. The insulating member includes a to-be-received portion accommodated in the electrical contact portion and a to-be-exposed portion. The electrical contact portion includes a bottom wall upon which the to-be-received portion is disposed, and a top wall. The to-be-received portion is positioned between the bottom wall and the top wall having a securing engagement portion brought into engagement with the to-be-received portion. The male terminal is made by placing the to-be-received portion upon the bottom wall while the bottom wall, the top wall, and the securing engagement portion are flush with each other, bending them such that the to-be-received portion resides between the top wall and the bottom wall, and bringing the securing engagement portion into engagement with the to-be-received portion.
