    摘要: Provided is a kneading rotor, a batch kneader and a method of kneading materials capable of obtaining kneaded materials with higher quality in comparison to conventional kneaded materials when the materials to be kneaded are kneaded in a high temperature state. The kneading rotor comprises a rotor portion which is disposed in a kneading chamber of a chamber of a batch kneader, and applies shear force, by using a plurality of kneading blades, to materials to be kneaded which pass through a tip clearance. A first long blade of the plurality of kneading blades has an apex for forming, with the inner surface of the chamber forming the kneading chamber, three-staged tip clearances of different sizes configured from a combination of a large tip clearance, a mid tip clearance that is smaller than the large tip clearance, and a small tip clearance that is smaller than the mid tip clearance so as to be arranged in the longitudinal direction of the first long blade. Each of a second long blade, a first short blade and a second short blade of the plurality of kneading blades has an apex for forming, with the inner surface of the chamber forming the kneading chamber, a tip clearance of a size that is larger than or equal to the small tip clearance and smaller than or equal to the large tip clearance.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for operating a speaker telephone in either full-duplex mode or half-duplex mode. In the absence of an earphone connection, the speaker telephone operates in half-duplex mode to prevent undesired feedback of speaker output to microphone input. Upon detecting insertion of an earphone plug into an earphone jack, the speaker telephone transitions to a full-duplex mode of operation. Upon detecting removal of the earphone plug, the speaker telephone reverts to the half-duplex mode of operation. The speaker telephone includes a controller configured to detect an earphone insertion event and enable full-duplex operation in response. The controller enables half-duplex operation upon detecting earphone removal.

In the joystick, when the function button is pressed down while the stick lever is inclined in one of directions or the trigger button is depressed, an operation specified by the inclination direction of the stick lever or by the trigger button can be executed intermittently or continuously, so that, even if the trigger button is operated long, it is possible to enhance the operation of the joystick, to reduce the fatigue of a player and to extend the life of the joystick.

The method is characterized by the addition of the ammonium phosphate in the form of a powder to an acidic aqueous solution of the rare earth salt under specified conditions in contrast to the conventional method in which the ammonium phosphate is admixed in the form of an aqueous solution.

    摘要: An improved method is proposed for the preparation of a composite carbonate powder of lanthanum, cerium and terbium as a base material of a green-emitting phosphor for which the carbonate powder is desired to have a uniform particle size distribution and a particle configuration as close to spherical as possible. The improved method is characterized by two-step heat treatment of the carbonate slurry formed by the addition of, for example, ammonium hydrogen carbonate to a mixed aqueous solution of lanthanum, cerium and terbium nitrates each under specified conditions while the pH of the aqueous slurry is adjusted to 5.0 to 7.5 after the first step heat treatment but before the second step heat treatment.

    摘要: Proposed is a novel face coat composition having improved stability used in the preparation of a shell-like casting mold for a high melting point metal or alloy by the lost-wax mold method by forming a face coat layer on a wax model using the composition and further forming a backup coat layer thereon followed by removal of the wax by melting and calcination of the shell-like mold formed from the layers. The face coat composition comprises a rare earth oxide powder as the refractory constituent and a binder which is a synthetic resin in the form of an aqueous emulsion, a water-soluble organic polymer in the form of an aqueous solution, a sol of an inorganic oxide such as aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide and zirconium oxide or a combination thereof. A small amount of a powder of rare earth glass can be admixed to the composition so that the face coat layer formed from the face coat composition may have still improved properties. The face coat layer formed from the inventive face coat composition is outstandingly resistant against attack of the high-temperature melt of a reactive metal or alloy so as not to form a reaction-hardened surface layer on the cast body.

    摘要: An improved method is proposed for the preparation of a powder of rare earth oxide of which the particles have a predominantly polyhedral configuration with a relatively large particle size to be suitable, for example, as a host of phosphors. The method comprises the steps of (a) precipitating a rare earth ammonium oxalate by the admixture of an aqueous solution of a rare earth salt and ammonium oxalate, (b) separating the precipitates from the aqueous medium, (c) washing the same with deionized water to be freed from electrolytes, (d) dispersing and keeping the precipitates in a hot water bath at 50.degree. C. or higher for at least 15 minutes, (e) collecting the precipitates and (f) calcining the precipitates of the rare earth ammonium oxalate into oxide. It is essential that the steps (a) to (c) are conducted at a temperature of 40.degree. C. or below or, preferably, 30.degree. C. or below. The thus obtained precipitates of rare earth ammonium oxalate has a unique crystallographic structure not reported in any literatures, which, however, is a metastable phase gradually transformed into the known crystallographic structure.
