摘要： An interface between software and hardware, as well as a fuzzy logic control algorithm, for controlling a DC-DC converter or an AC-DC or DC-AC inverter are provided. A control circuit receives commands from a control logic to operate a converter or inverter in various operation modes. Control software inputs can be translated into signals to operate the converter or inverter. Control variables in the control software can be configured to operate under various control modes. If the converter or inverter cannot simultaneously meet the demands placed on two or more variables, the control logic can use prioritization to choose a more important constraint.

摘要： Digital content encoded on a physical media, such as a DVD or Blu-Ray disk, includes first content comprising a video feature such as a motion picture or the like, and a user-selectable application configured to operate as follows. When activated using an icon off of a menu screen, the application records an identifier for scenes (discrete portions) of the first content that are selected by a user to generate a playlist. The user may select the scenes by indicating a start and end of each scene. The application saves the playlist locally, then uploads to a server. Via a user account at the server, a user may publish the playlist to a user-created distribution list, webpage, or other electronic publication, and modify the playlist by deleting or reordering scenes.

摘要： A media (e.g., Blu-Ray) first content package includes a link to an application for sending second content to a remote device, especially a mobile telephone. The application is included in the first content. The second content is not included in the first content. The application presents a list of second content choices, selectable by a user. The application receives a destination address for the second content from user input and sends the destination address to a second content server. The second content server contacts the remote device having the indicated destination address, and confirms that receipt of second content will be accepted. Upon receiving confirmation, the second content server transmits the second content to the remote device. The technology may be used to provide content to mobile devices, such as mobile phones, in association with distributed media such as Blu-Ray discs configured for being played by a media player.
