摘要: Provided herein are methods of formulating and engineering block copolymer (BCP) systems for directed self-assembly (DSA) processes. In some embodiments, the methods involve engineering a BCP material based on the interaction parameter (χ) of the material and the surface and/or interaction energies of its constituent blocks. Also provided are novel block BCP materials that can be used in DSA techniques. In some embodiments, the BCP systems described herein have micro-phase separating blocks, with at least one block including multiple types of repeat units. Also provided are structures formed by DSA, including structures having a sub-20 nm dimension. Applications included nanolithography for semiconductor devices, fabrication of cell-based assays, nanoprinting, photovoltaic cells, and surface-conduction electron-emitter displays.

摘要: Provided herein are block copolymer thin film structures and methods of fabrication. The methods involve directing the assembly of ABA triblock copolymers such that desired features are formed by domains of the assembled ABA triblock copolymer. In some embodiments, an ABA triblock copolymer is directed to assemble by a chemical pattern. Chemical patterns with periods much different than the natural period of the ABA triblock copolymer may be used to direct assembly of the ABA triblock copolymer.

摘要: Embodiments include devices, systems, methods, and articles of manufacture that facilitate sending notices that a previously identified malfunctioning link or pointer has been restored or otherwise rendered useable. Embodiments can include systems with a registry wherein when a user discovers that a link is not functioning properly the registry may register the malfunctioning link, may facilitate further queries of the malfunctioning link, and may provide updates to one or more user portals that the previously malfunctioning link or pointer is no longer malfunctioning.

摘要: A method for dynamic tagging includes receiving input of a name of at least one tag into an information object implemented by an application that is executed by a computer system that is in communication with at least one tag repository external to the application; querying the at least one tag repository for the tag with the application executed by the computer system; and responsive to receiving at least one match from the at least one tag repository, incorporating the content into the information object with the application.

摘要: A portal is comprised of a plurality of portlets. Each portlet accesses hardware and software to gather data. Each portlet offers information to the portal page. Each portlet's information has a specific content type and markup. A subset of portlets are determined stackable if the subset of portlets have in common one or more of the same hardware, software, content type or markup. Once a subset of portlets is determined stackable, the user's preference for stacking the portlets is obtained by loading a user profile or asking the user. If the subset of portlets are stackable and the user desires the subset of portlets stacked, then the subset of portlets are stacked such that the stack of portlets present a first portlet and a control for selecting a second portlet from within the subset of portlets that is not currently presented.

摘要: Improved input filtering apparatus for loudspeaker systems, and loudspeaker systems including such apparatus. The bass roll-off point of input filtering apparatus for loudspeakers is automatically adjusted to an optimum in accordance with the amplitude and spectral content of the audio signal being received at the time, thereby attenuating components in the signal liable to cause "bottoming" of the loudspeaker. The input filter apparatus comprises a first high-pass filter having a breakpoint frequency at or near the lower threshold of the audio frequency range, a second variable bandwidth, high-pass filter connected to receive the first high-pass filter output, a feedback circuit responsive to the second filter output to provide a feedback signal as a linear function thereof with a gain which is substantially inversely proportional to the square of the frequency, and circuit means including threshold means connected with the second filter and responsive to the said feedback signal to relatively rapidly increase the breakpoint frequency of the second filter in response to values of the feedback signal which exceed a threshold and to relatively showly reduce that breakpoint frequency in response to values of the feedback signal which do not exceed the said threshold. Bass equalization circuit means having a frequency response at the low end of the audio spectrum which is substantiallythe inverse of the frequency response of said loudspeaker means are provided between the output of the second filter and the loudspeaker drive circuit.

摘要: Ores containing oxides of Titanium, Zirconium and Hafnium metals are reduced by mixing them in the powdered state with a base hydroxide of one of the Classes I-A or II-A metals of the periodic table of elements and either sugar or starch, mixing them well, then heating the mixture until ignition begins and maintaining the necessary heat until ignition is finished. The remaining residue is then flushed and boiled with water to remove waste chemicals, leached with hydrocarbon solvents, hydrochloric acid, again boiled with water, flushed, dryed, and then smelted to Class IV-B metal powder or ingot.
