Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of notifying the arrival of an incoming event at a mobile terminal connected by communication means to a terminal-to-be-notified that is separate from the mobile terminal. The method comprises the following operations at the time of arrival at the mobile terminal of an incoming event identified by an incoming event type: comparing the incoming event type with an incoming event type identifier contained in a previously activated incoming event management profile, and sending a notification message to the terminal-to-be-notified whose identifier is contained in the activated management profile if the incoming event type corresponds to an incoming event type of the activated management profile.
Abstract:
An audio device for modifying the voice transmitted during a telephone call particularly suitable for a mobile telephone system receives from the user of the audio device an analog speech signal. A converter converts the analog speech signal into a digital speech signal comprising at least one fundamental frequency. A set of coded data represents a musical score comprising a set of notes, each note being defined by a fundamental frequency, a duration, and an instrument that plays the note. A digital music signal is extracted from the set of coded data, and a first portion of the digital speech signal is mixed with a first portion of the digital music signal to produce a combined digital signal.
Abstract:
A telecommunication terminal receives an analog speech signal from a user of the terminal and converts the analog speech signal into a digital signal. A vocoder applies source coding to the speech signal and extracts reconstruction parameters from the speech signal. The reconstruction parameters are modified so that the transmitted voice associated with the signal is modified.
Abstract:
The speed gear device is particularly distinctive in that it includes a third movable fork side (11) mounted in a movable manner between the internal side (9a) and the external side (9b) of a fork (9) for guiding the chain (A) with a substantial spacing, in order to act in connection with the control means when the speed gear device is actuated, to guide the chain from a sprocket wheel to the other sprocket wheel.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a selector device for the remote control of the position of a member 4 relative to a support 3 through a control means 8 acting at one end of a flexible traction coupling, particularly a cable 11, whose other end is connected, through connection means L, to said member 4. The connection means L comprise:a piece p provided with notches c whose number is at least equal to the number of positions to be given to said member 4;and means E, G, for moving the piece p, adapted to cooperate with the notches of this latter in response to the movements of the control means.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of transmitting data over a mobile telephone speech channel between a radio telephone terminal having a type of source encoding and a data transceiver unit via a mobile telephone network supporting at least one mode of communication without transcoding that can be set up between two mobile telephones having at least one type of source encoding in common. In the method, while negotiating the mode of communication between said radio telephone terminal and said data transmitter and/or receiver unit, the transmitter and/or receiver unit sends one of the types of source encoding available to said terminal to the terminal to engage said mode of communication without transcoding. Thereafter, data is transmitted over the mobile telephone network in frames reserved for speech signals encoded using the type of source encoding selected for the mode of communication.
Abstract:
A gear shift control for bicycles, of the "derailleur" type which has guig members for a chain that can be moved crosswiss between at least two separate positions by a cable from a remotely located shifter, which includes a mobile element that receives the movement of the cable, a mobile toothed element connected to the guiding members of the chain, a memory element carried by the mobile element and working with the teeth of the mobile toothed element; and swinging members acting on the memory element so that, for a movement of the cable with a small amplitude, followed by a release, the toothed element is moved in a first direction along a path corresponding to the interval between two teeth, and for a movement of the cable of a greater amplitude, followed by a release, the toothed element is moved in a second direction also along a path corresponding to the interval between two teeth.
Abstract:
A location data processing device (D) for a mobile telephone device (UE) which can move in geographical areas of a communication network defined by sets of location parameters. the processing device includes processing means adapted i) to determine the geographical area in which the mobile telephone device (UE) is located at predetermined times, and then to store temporarily a set of location parameters representative of said detected geographical area, and ii) to analyze the sets of location parameters stored at chosen intervals, in order to store each set of location parameters satisfying at least one chosen criterion.
Abstract:
To transmit data over a mobile telephone speech channel a source encoder is replaced by a transcoder, a conversion table and/or a concatenation circuit in order to choose from the words produced by the source encoder the ones that are the most robust and which can without difficulty withstand speech synthesis followed by an inverse analysis to reconstitute streams of the bits of the data to be transmitted.
