    摘要: In a pressure cylinder (1) having an elongated axially slit cylinder structure closed at the ends in which a piston (4) is guided longitudinally slideable which carries a force transfer element (6) extending through an elongated axial slit (5), the elongated axial slit (5) of the cylinder structure is sealed in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder by a flexible sealing strip (7) disposed on the inside of the cylinder structure and held against a sealing surface (10) of the inside of the cylinder structure. To adapt the pressure cylinder (1) to a higher inner pressure the arrangement is such that the elastically deformable sealing strip (7) has a stiffening strip (13) of greater strength which is connected with it and disposed in the inside of the cylinder structure and which is covered in the direction of the piston (4) by the sealing strip (7). On the cylinder structure on both sides of the elongated axial slit (7) and following the sealing surfaces (10) engagement surfaces (14) are disposed, against which the stiffening strip (14) can be supported.

    摘要: A stiff, form-stable elongated tubular housing (1) is formed with an axially extending longitudinal slit (12). A drive spindle (4) is retained in bearings (8) located in end flanges (2) of the housing, driven for example by a motor (M). The slit is closed off by a flexible web (23) which is lifted out of the slit in the region of the force transfer element by camming surfaces (33, 34) passed through a transverse opening (32) in the force transfer element, and re-seated in the slit by roller-and-pusher elements (35, 36, 37) which snap outwardly extending projections (30) of resilient web strips (28) behind the walls of the slit (12) to form a completely enclosed housing in which the spindle and spindle nuts are protected from environmental contamination, and which can retain lubricant for high-efficiency, low-noise force transmission and conversion.

    摘要: A mechanical linear drive system for generating a defined linear movement of a driven force transfer element (16) has a spindle drive, the threaded spindle (7) of which is supported in a profiled tubular structure (1) of stable shape, closed off at the end by bearing flanges (9) and provided with a linear slit through which the force transfer element, drivingly coupled in the longitudinal direction of the tubular structure by the spindle nut (11) of the spindle drive, protrudes to the outside out of the tubular structure. To permit adaptation to conditions imposed by various kinds of use, the arrangement is such that the spindle nut is supported rotatably and axially immovably on the force transfer element, and that a drive means that is joined with the force transfer element is coupled with the spindle nut (11) via a gearing means (18, 19, 20) located on the force transfer element (16). This drive means, and a further drive means (10) that may be provided for driving the threaded spindle, makes it possible to generate the most varied kinds of linear movements. A plurality of spindle nuts can also be provided on the threaded spindle, or the threaded spindle can be divided into a plurality of spindle portions.

    摘要: To form a protective cover for an elongated machine element, such as a feed spindle or the like (1), a tubular structure (7) which may be formed of a plurality of parallel strips (7a) has edges which are formed with an interengaging, interlocking but separable ridge or rib-groove construction (10, 9) similar to a slide fastener. To provide for secure interengagement and covering of a traveling element (2-4) on the spindle, a guide cone (16) is secured to the traveling element surrounding the tubular structure. The guide cone may include a hub (4) formed with a part-circumferential opening or openings (15) through which the opened guide tube portions can pass to permit the traveling element to move while providing continuous protection to the spindle upon movement thereof, the guide cone insuring reclosing of the rib-and-groove behind the movable element, and opening in advance thereof. The tube may be formed, in addition, with longitudinal guide grooves (23) in which closing elements can engage (FIGS. 8-11).
