    摘要: A system for removing slag from a boiler includes a laser, a targeting system, and a computer system for controlling the operation of the laser and targeting system. Preferably, the laser includes chemicals contained in a mixing pre-chamber. A pump connects to the pre-chamber, and an iodine laser diode connects to the pump. The laser unit also has a power source, cooling system, and a raw beam laser. The targeting system is driven by targeting software and includes an optical targeting system. Preferably, the system also includes a mobile trailer with a computer control room, a main laser operating unit, and a portable optical targeting system connected to the laser unit. Fiber optic cable connects the targeting system and the laser. The online deslagging method includes transporting and setting-up the system, relaying set-up information, feeding targeting information, activating and operating the laser to remove slag from within the boiler.

    摘要: An electrical connection and interlock circuit system (20) operates between a battery (14) and a drive motor (16) of a vehicle electric drive. Circuit system (20) includes a connection circuit (22) having first and second connectors (24) and (26) for energizing the drive motor (16) by the battery (14) and also includes an interlock circuit (28) that operates to electrically disconnect the connection circuit when either connector is in a partially connected position. The circuit system (20) also includes a power connector housing (46) at which the second connector (26) is located along with a third connector (66) that is connected to the drive motor (16), and a mechanical interlock (66) prevents disconnection of the third connector until after the second connector is disconnected so that there is no power at the third connector during its connection or disconnection.

    摘要: The improved connector box assembly of the present invention includes mating male and female connectors, each of which is insulated in a novel manner to prevent manual touching, especially of the male probe during electrical connection, and also to prevent manual touching of the electrically live female conductor when not engaged with the male connector element. The female electrical receptacle is recessed within elongated neck-like electrical insulation means for disposition over one end of the female electrical receptacle and to permit relatively snug entry thereinto of the male electrical probe.     摘要: A tire inflator includes a pressure vessel filled with non-flammable compressed gas. A tubular valve housing is secured within the inflator outlet and includes radial ports opening to the bore of the housing and located adjacent an outer apertured end wall. A tubular valve body is slidable within the housing bore and includes a conventional tire valve. The inner ends of the housing and valve body each include a slightly raised rib in concentric relationship. A rupturable diaphragm secured to the ribs locates the valve body relative to the housing and seals the space therebetween. Over pressure in the vessel ruptures the diaphragm between the valve body and housing and moves the valve body outwardly into engagement with the end wall of the housing. The pressure fluid within the pressure vessel escapes to atmosphere through the space between the valve body and housing and through the radial ports.
