摘要: A method for operating an ultrasonic device comprising a first and second ultrasonic transducers, includes driving the first and second transducers at a driving frequency such that the first and second transducers generate a first and a second signals, respectively. The method also includes sensing the second signal at the first transducer to produce a first measurement signal and sensing the first signal at the second transducer to produce a second measurement signal. The method further includes identifying a first set of data-points in the first measurement signal and a second set of data-points in the second measurement signal. The method also includes generating a frequency data-series using the first set of data-points and a corresponding data-point in the second set of data-points. The method also includes performing statistical operations based on the frequency data-series and configuring an operating frequency for driving the first and second transducers using the operations.

摘要: The invention relates to a small electrical appliance for removing hairs, with a handpiece extending in the direction of a center axis and provided with front and rear sides and side faces, and with an operating head which is secured on the handpiece via a retaining device and has an operating unit. The operating unit is composed of at least one operating element which is set in motion via a drive member by an electrical drive motor formed in the small appliance, such that, when the operating unit slides along the skin surface of a user, hairs are removed by the operating unit. The retaining device is connected to the handpiece via guide means in such a way that, when a force (F1 or F2) acts on the operating head in the guiding direction, at least a lateral movement (c or d) of the operating head relative to the handpiece takes place.

摘要: A fuel cell system utilizes at least one flow restricting device to vary the stoichiometric quantity of cathode reactant flowing to two discrete cathode sides of the fuel cell system. The varying of the stoichiometric quantity of cathode reactant can be between two predetermined values. The varying of the stoichiometric quantity can be during a steady state power demand placed on the system and/or during transients in a power demand placed on the system. The airmover that supplies the cathode reactant stream can be operated in a substantially continuous manner during a continuous power demand placed on the fuel cell system.

摘要: The tap safety cover conceals a rotating tap or the like to prevent a worker from contacting the sharp cutting edges of the tool during operation. The device includes a tool holder which secures in the chuck or bit holder of a rotary power tool. A hollow cylindrical barrel is affixed to the tool holder, with an extension sleeve telescoping from the barrel. The tap extends concentrically through the tool holder, barrel, and sleeve, and is completely covered when the sleeve is extended. A coil spring in the barrel urges the sleeve to a fully extended position, with the sleeve retracting as it is pushed back by the workpiece as the tap penetrates a previously drilled hole in the workpiece.

摘要: Equipment (10, 20) for facilitating point-to-point cryptographic data communication systems is disclosed. The seamless rekey cryptosystem permits changing of the crypto key (70, 80) with no down time. The cryptosystem will facilitate seamless key installation to eliminate data loss or reduce storage required while updating the crypto key. The seamless key will allow changing the key more often, which will also provide a more robust, secure cryptosystem.

摘要: The invention relates to pressed paperboard containers, such as disposable paper plates and bowls, having increased strength and rigidity, and the processes used to form such containers by the formation of non-radial pleats at outer regions of the container. The invention also provides pleats about the outer periphery that are non-linear along the length of the pleat. Such non-radial and non-linear pleats are formed by forming non-radial and non-linear scores in a blank of paperboard converted into the container geometry.
