    摘要: A method of making a photographic color print using a photographic color material containing low levels of silver halide characterized in that,(a) after image formation and washing and/or stop bath treatment and(b) before non-uniform exposure to adventitious light,the print is uniformly exposed to a light source so that undeveloped silver halide is caused to print out uniformly. Such a uniform density is much more acceptable than a non-uniform density caused by uneven light in normal conditions.

    摘要: In a heat developable photographic material and process for providing a dye enhanced silver image, an element comprising a support having thereon in reactive association: (A) at least one heat developable photographic layer comprising (i) photosensitive silver halide, (ii) at least one active silver halide developing agent, (iii) an activating concentration of a development activator precursor, and (iv) a polymeric binder and (B) at least one layer comprising an azoaniline dye that is bleached in the non-image areas of the described element upon development of a latent image in the layer (A) by uniformly heating, can provide an improved image. After imagewise exposure of the described heat developable material, a dye enhanced silver image can be provided by heating the element containing the described combination of layers and materials.

    摘要: A process for forming a dye image including the steps of: (a) exposing a photographic element comprising a light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a color coupler compound capable of forming a heat transferable dye upon development; (b) developing the exposed element resulting from step (a) with a color developer solution to form a heat transferable dye image; (c) heating the exposed, developed element resulting from step (b) to thereby transfer the dye image from the emulsion layer to a dye receiving layer which is part of the photographic element or part of a separate dye receiving element brought into contact with the photographic element; and (d) separating the emulsion layer from the dye receiving layer containing the transferred dye image; wherein the color coupler compound is of the following formula (I):COUP--B (I)wherein COUP represents a coupler moiety capable of forming a heat transferable dye upon reaction of the coupler compound with an oxidized product of the developing solution of step (b); and B is hydrogen or a coupling-off group which is separated from COUP upon reaction of the coupler compound with an oxidized product of the developing solution of step (b). The process combines "wet" development with conventional developing solutions and "dry" separation of the developed image from the emulsion layer by heat transfer.

    摘要: A method of forming chromogenic photographic image comprising the steps of:providing an aqueous developable photographic element coated on a single dimensionally stable support, wherein said element comprises in reactive association (1) a developing agent, where said developing agent is a primary amine or a precursor of a primary amine, (2) radiation sensitive silver halide, (3) a color coupler compound that forms or releases a dye upon reaction with the oxidation product of a primary amine developing agent, and (4) a hydrophilic binder;exposing said element to actinic radiation; anddeveloping said image by contacting said element with an applied volume of an aqueous processing solution, wherein said applied volume is limited to less than 800% of the swell volume of said element in equilibrium-mechanical contact with said processing solution or the temporal duration of said contacting is limited to a time less than 500% of the time necessary for said element to swell to 90% of said swell volume.

    摘要: The invention is generally accomplished by a method wherein a dry photographic image is formed in an imaging-forming donor layer. The formed image is allowed to diffuse to a receiver layer. A dry acceptor layer is brought into contact with the image-forming layer and then separated such that the image-forming layer is adhered to the acceptor layer. It is preferred that the contact of the acceptor layer and the image-forming layer is under heat and pressure and the preferred material for both layers is dry gelatin.

    摘要: In a dry physical development photothermographic element for a dry thermal silver-dye bleach process wherein the element comprises a silver halide complexing concentration of a silver halide complexing agent improvements are provided when the complexing agent is an organic ammonium chloride, bromide or iodide. After imagewise exposure of the element, a dye image can be produced by uniformly heating the element. Improvements are also produced by providing a dry activator element for producing a dye image in a separate photographic element by means of a dry physical development thermal dye-bleach process, wherein the activator element comprises a support having thereon a layer comprising a synthetic hydrophobic polymeric binder, a silver halide complexing concentration of a silver halide complexing agent, as described, a bleachable dye and a thermal solvent.
