Abstract:
An internal combustion engine for a vehicle, such as a motorcycle, includes a crankcase, two banks of cylinders projecting from the crankcase in a 56-57 degree V-configuration, a plurality of pushrods, and a plurality of camshafts supported by the crankcase. The two banks of cylinders include a first cylinder bank that projects from the crankcase to a first cylinder head, and a second cylinder bank that projects from the crankcase to a second cylinder head. The plurality of intake and exhaust valve pushrods extend between the crankcase and the first and second cylinder heads, driven by one intake camshaft and two exhaust camshafts.
Abstract:
An internal combustion engine (300) for a vehicle, such as a motorcycle (20), includes a crankcase (380), two banks of cylinders (320a, 320b) projecting from the crankcase (380) in a V-configuration, a plurality of pushrods (364), and a plurality of camshafts (360a, 360b, 360c) supported by the crankcase (380). The two banks of cylinders (320a, 320b) include a first cylinder bank that projects from the crankcase (380) to a first cylinder head (340a), and a second cylinder bank that projects from the crankcase (380) to a second cylinder head (340b). The plurality of pushrods (364) extend between the crankcase (380) and the first and second cylinder heads (340a, 340b), and the plurality of camshafts include only the first, second and third camshafts (360a, 360b, 360c).
Abstract:
A compression release assembly is disclosed, the assembly including a camshaft rotatable about a camshaft axis, a trigger rotatable about a trigger axis substantially perpendicular to the camshaft axis, and a spring position between the trigger and the camshaft. Preferably, the trigger is rotated from an engagement position toward a disengagement position when a rotational velocity of the camshaft achieves a known value, and is rotated from the disengagement position toward the engagement position when the rotational velocity of the camshaft is below the known value.

Abstract:
A muffler assembly is provided including a diffuser adapted to expand exhaust gas entering the muffler assembly, an insert with at least one opening through which exhaust gas passes to exit the muffler assembly, and a baffle-less sound dampening portion to muffle engine sound. Preferably, the muffler assembly is of a double walled configuration with insulation provided between an inner wall and an outer wall.
Abstract:
A golf ball and golf club head cleaner including a leak resistant container which has a lid and open cylindrical portion for receiving a cleaning fluid therein. The lid has a ball holder attached at the end of an extender portion and a handle attached on top forming one rigid piece. A rigid bristle cage formed of plastic or wire mesh internally lined with bristles is placed inside of the open cylinder. A golf ball is placed into an opening in the center of the ball holder and secured by a pair of alternate prongs. The ball holder is then immersed into the container and swished about against the bristles in the liquid detergent. To clean a golf club head the ball holder is removed and the club head is immersed in the detergent liquid in the container. One side of the ball holder has bristles for easy cleaning of the deep grooves on the golf club head. A clip is attached to the side of the container for attachment to a golf bag for easy transportation. There is a removable elastic fastener for attaching the lip to the container.
