    摘要: An organic semiconductor device according to the present invention includes a semiconductor layer 14 interposed between two electrodes 12 and 15, and the semiconductor layer 14 contains a trioxotriangulene (TOT) derivative, which is a neutral radical compound, as a semiconductor material. The semiconductor layer 14 acts as an n-type semiconductor and coacts with a p-type semiconductor layer 13 to exhibit a photoelectric conversion effect. The organic semiconductor device is characterized as including a semiconductor layer that has a narrow band gap, has light absorption performance in an infrared region, and is high in carrier mobility.

    摘要: The present invention relates to transparent nanocomposites comprising of metal oxide nanoparticles dispersed in polymer matrix. The nanoparticles have capping agents attached onto the nanoparticle surfaces and a precursor solution of capped nanoparticles and polymer is prepared and dried to obtain the nanocomposites. The nanocomposites exhibit UV absorption, low haze, and improved thermal stability. The present invention also relates to the methods associated with the preparation of capped nanoparticles, precursor solution and nanocomposites.

    摘要: Provided is a curable composition which can easily regulate the properties of a cured object prepared therefrom, which can prepare a cured object that does not substantially discolor or soften a finishing agent or coating material applied to the surface thereof, and which has a high curing rate in the inner regions. The curable composition contains (A) a polymer having at least one mercapto group at the molecular ends, the polymer being derived from a thiocarbonylthio group-containing polymer (a2) prepared by polymerizing a monomer (a1) which contains an acrylic ester as a principal component and which contains 50% by weight or more of the acrylic ester and less than 50% by weight of a monomer copolymerizable with the acrylic ester in the presence of a thiocarbonylthio group-containing compound; (B) a compound having at least two mercapto groups per molecule; and (C) an oxidizing agent.

The composition is produced by compounding a thermoplastic resin or an elastomer with a block copolymer having at least one methacrylic ester polymer block and at least one acrylic ester polymer block. Also provided are a process for producing a methacrylic ester-acrylic ester-methacrylic ester block copolymer which requires hardly any purification, which is excellent in heat resistance and weatherability, and in which the molecular weight and the molecular-weight distribution are controlled, and a methacrylic ester-acrylic ester-methacrylic ester block copolymer produced by the process.

    摘要: Objects of the present invention are to provide a process for easily producing an alkenyl-terminated vinyl polymer without using a metal compound requiring a complicated purification step, and to provide a curable composition containing the vinyl polymer. An alkenyl group is incorporated into an end of a vinyl polymer having a thiocarbonylthio structure at the end to produce an alkenyl-terminated vinyl polymer. Mixing this vinyl polymer with a compound having a hydrogen-silicon bond and a hydrosilylation catalyst gives the curable composition.
