摘要： A foundation system for supporting a manufactured building having a support beam, comprising a ground pan having a planar surface received on a ground surface and a thermally insulative member disposed on the ground pan, which cooperatively define in situ a proximate thermally isolated ground column, with a foundation support connected to the ground pan and to the support beam, the thermally insulative member restricts communication of heat from the proximate thermally isolated ground column below the ground pan for resisting frost heaving. A method of resisting frost heave of a foundation is disclosed.

摘要： A method for coating for a substrate, comprising applying an underlayer of a self assembling monolayer well ordered array of long chain molecules on the substrate; and applying a top layer, over the underlayer, wherein the self-assembling monolayer well ordered array serves as a molecular template organizing formation of said top layer, comprising at least one of a thermally-resistant polymer layer over said self assembling monolayer selected from the group consisting of epoxies, and phosphorus-based polyimides; and a metal oxide, metal nitride, or a ceramic. The self assembling monolayer may be selectively applied to a portion of the substrate, leaving an uncoated region, and the top layer formed only over the areas of the substrate coated with the self-assembling monolayer, resulting in at least one region of the substrate which is not coated with the top layer.

摘要： An assembly for attaching a generator to a truck chassis with members that define a generator support surface and distal ends with at least one that defines a first opening. An elongated member for each distal end with an opening has a first bearing surface and an offset second bearing surface and an opening. The elongated member is disposed with the first bearing surface contacting the distal end attachment portion and the second bearing surface contacting an interior surface of the flange of the C-beam. The fastener extending through the aligned openings rigidly attaches the members to the C-beam.

摘要： A pier cap for a disposition atop a pier of support for a structure, such as a manufactured home generally comprises a rectangular body having a generally flat planar textured top and support webs including a peripheral, downward extending wall and a plurality of internal webs and an open interior in the body between the webs. The webs are designed to be supported by the upper surface of a concrete block having vertical cells. Coupling projections, connected to the body and rising above the top, couple with the webs of a stacked cap to prevent sliding. The pier caps can be arranged in stacked layers of multiple caps.

摘要： Processes and systems are provided for converting synthesis gas containing a mixture of H2 and CO to liquid hydrocarbon products having a cloud point less than about 15° C. The systems utilize at least one Fischer-Tropsch reactor containing hybrid Fischer-Tropsch catalyst with cooling and separation of reactor effluent following each reactor. The low cloud point indicates that the amount of wax in the hydrocarbon products is minimized relative to conventional Fischer-Tropsch conversion. Accordingly, more economical systems can be built and operated because equipment associated with wax removal or wax treatment can be reduced or eliminated.
