    Abstract: A method for playing an audio-video (AV) file is provided. The first AV file is played in a first or a second player. The first and the second players are coupled to one first digital media server. First, the first digital media server outputs a first AV file to the first player for playing the same. Then, the first digital media server pauses the first AV file and generates a first pausing data recording a first pausing time.
