Abstract:
Embodiments of hybrid sensor-enabled and autonomous electric wheels can include a plurality of systems and devices integrated into a single compact hub unit that can be retrofitted into numerous types of two-wheeled bicycles. In one embodiment, an electrically motorized bicycle wheel can include a wheel rim, a wheel hub having an electric motor, a battery pack and a control unit configured to control a drive torque of the electric motor, and a plurality of wheel spokes connecting the wheel rim to the wheel hub. The electric motor, the battery pack and the control unit can be positioned within the wheel hub of the electrically motorized bicycle wheel.
Abstract:
A method for assembling or disassembling spokes of a tubeless wheel includes following steps: selecting a rim, assembling an adaptor onto an assembling tool, assembling the adaptor to the position hole, assembling a spoke, assembling the spoke to the adaptor and disassembling the assembling tool from the adaptor. Therefore, a user can assemble or disassemble the spokes easily and conveniently.
Abstract:
A method intended for manufacturing a bicycle spoked wheel, a spoked wheel product for a bicycle and a kit of parts intended for cooperation with the product are described. By inserting the nipples or barrels for the attachment of the spokes in the spoke attachment seats from the inside of the spoke attachment chamber instead of from the outside, after having inserted them in the chamber from a suitably sized opening, the rim of the bicycle wheel can be manufactured even without additional openings, still using conventional nipples or barrels.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of designing spokes of a non-pneumatic tire which randomly arranges spokes around a circumference to optimize noise dispersion. The method of designing spokes of a non-pneumatic tire includes placing a plurality of spokes (2) holding and supporting a tread (1) to be radially installed around a circumference of the tire on a circular spoke support (3) under the tread (1) to be in contact with the ground, wherein the spokes (2) are arranged at three angles on the circular spoke support (3) around the circumference of the tire, the three angles being divided into a small angle (a), a medium angle (b) and a large angle (c), and the spokes (2) are arranged at irregular angles under a condition that a ratio (q) of the large angle (c) to the small angle (a) is greater than a ratio (p) of the medium angle (b) to the small angle (a).
Abstract:
A spoke for a wire wheel of the type including a rim and a hub interconnected with one another by a plurality of spokes, each of which includes an end portion arranged to be retained at least in one direction in a seat associated with the rim. The spoke has a bush associated with the end portion for receiving same to define the seat. The bush is arranged to be inserted in a through-hole of the rim.
