Abstract: The arrangement for introducing a desired quantity of decontamination agent into a containment facility comprises a tank as a storage vessel for storing the decontamination agent in liquid form. A metering apparatus having a spray nozzle is directed into the containment facility so as to atomize the decontamination agent. At least one feed line from the ambient air, a compressed air connection and a control unit are provided to operate the metering apparatus. The metering apparatus has a metering container that comprises a storage chamber that has a defined volume for receiving an individual portion of decontamination agent. The storage chamber is provided so as to successively receive a number (n) of portions of decontamination agent from the tank, and the portion respectively held in the storage chamber is introduced by means of the spray nozzle into the containment facility prior to receiving a subsequent portion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a glove device (4), the glove (3) of which is provided for protected intervention in a working chamber (11) of a containment (1) through an access (24) present in a port flange (2). The port flange (2) is built into a front panel (12) or into a wall of a housing (10) of the containment (1) positioned in an installation area (19). Machinery (13) for processing goods to be treated can be provided in the working chamber (11). The glove device (4) is designed as an assembly in the form of an insert which can be inserted into the port flange (2) in a gas-tight manner, said glove device comprising, on one side, a seal (41) which can be removed or is to be opened and, on the other side, a cover part (7) or a shut-off part (5) which is releasable from the assembly, and the vacuum-packed glove (3) between these two sides. The glove device (4) also has a fixing part (40) which is intended for gas-tight fastening to the port flange (2) and between which the seal (41) is gripped. With the cover part (7) or shut-off part (5) seated on the glove device (4) and with the seal (41) in the undamaged state, the seal (41) is visually recognisably concave relative to the front area (45) of the glove device (4) as a result of the negative pressure prevailing therein. In order to preclude unauthorised intervention via the glove (3) in the working chamber (11) through the access (24) present in the port flange (2), the glove device (4) is completed by protective measures.

Abstract: The catalyst unit (1) for splitting a decontamination agent introduced into a containment for a decontamination process has at least one catalyst element (21). This catalyst element (21) first consists of a carrier material made of aluminum ceramics or activated carbon, and also of a catalytically active component in the form of nanoparticles, applied to the carrier material by means of chemical plating, and made of silver or silver oxide or of a silver and silver oxide mixture. The catalytically active component on the at least one catalyst element (21) is present in the range from 0.05 weight percent to 0.5 weight percent relative to the carrier material. The at least one catalyst element (21) has a catalytically effective surface in the range of up to 320 m2 per gram of used material, as a combination of carrier material plus applied catalytically active component. With the catalyst unit (1), an non-critical concentration of non-degraded decontamination agent of lower than 0.5 ppm, preferentially a maximum of 0.1 ppm can be achieved. The containment is configured in particular as an isolator, sluice or RABS (RestrictedAccess Barrier System), as well as being of a mobile and stationary type, such as means for transportation, and spaces for treatment, isolation and/or diagnosis of patients, as well as production spaces and laboratories.

Abstract: A work glove is installed at the port flange, with the result that the operator can enter the working chamber of the containment in a protected manner. A multiplicity of port flanges are usually mounted on the containment and a work glove is fastened in each case to the respective port flange. Machinery for processing material to be treated is often set up in the working chamber. In order to temporarily block the access, a shut-off part which can be moved into a blocking position and an open position is provided. In order to record personal data relating to the operator, the arrangement has a capture unit which has a connection to a microcontroller.

Abstract: A filter system for a containment through which a gas flows, comprising at least one filter unit. First docking means on the filter unit removably connect the filter unit to a receiving port of the containment. The filter unit further has a closure element having an adjusting mechanism to block and open an entry into the filter unit. A drive unit can be connected to the adjusting mechanism. The connection between the adjusting mechanism and the drive unit is preferably dockable. The drive unit has a motor preferably in the form of an electric motor with a pinion or a gear. The transmission ratio of the motor to the transmission part is greater than 1:20, preferably greater than 1:30, for example 1:33. A control unit can switch and monitor the position of a plurality of closure elements according to a program. The adjusting mechanism can also be actuated manually.
