A system, a method, and a portable game device for playing a video game is provided. The system includes a first computing device for executing a video game. The execution of the video game is designed to produce processed interactive program instructions. A second computing device that is portable is provided. A wireless communication link capable of being established between the first computing device and the second computing device is included, wherein portions of the processed interactive program instructions are communicated to the second computing device to interactively play the video game at the second computing device location.

A semiconductor chip includes a plurality of regional clock distribution nodes located on the semiconductor chip; a plurality of clock buffers, each being operable to produce a respective output clock signal from an associated input clock signal in accordance with an error signal, the outputs of a subset of the plurality of clock buffers being coupled to respective ones of the plurality of regional clock distribution nodes; and a plurality of phase detectors, each being operable to produce a respective error signal indicative of phase differences between the output clock signals of at least two of the regional clock distribution nodes, wherein the clock buffers adjust the respective output clock signals in accordance with the respective error signals.

An invention is provided for an alphanumeric keyboard input system using a controller, such as a game controller. A plurality of cells is provided, where each cell includes a plurality of characters. A user is allowed to select any character using only two commands. In particular, a first command is used to select a particular cell of the plurality of cells, and a second command is used to select a particular character of the plurality of characters within the selected cell.
Abstract:
An invention is provided for digital image selection and previewing in a digital camera environment. Image selection parameters are obtained, where the image selection parameters define specific properties of a digital image. A plurality of digital images is filtered based on the image selection parameters to generate a subset of the plurality of digital images. The subset includes digital images having the specific properties defined by the image selection parameters. Optionally, the digital images included in the subset can be prioritized and/or categorized based on the selection parameters. In addition, in one aspect, image view commands can be received and a plurality of views of a particular digital image generated based on the image view commands. These views can then be displayed to a user.

Systems and methods for providing feedback to a user are described. One of the methods includes sending interactive data for rendering on a head mounted display (HMD). The HMD is configured for attachment to a head of a user for playing a game. The method further includes receiving image data associated with a body part of the user while the HMD is worn by the user and the HMD renders interactive content. The method includes tracking a spatial position associated with the body part of the user from the image data of the user. In the method, physical placement of a remote-controlled device at the spatial position associated with the body part of the user is rendered in the HMD as virtual contact with an object in the interactive content.
Abstract:
A method for providing media content-related options in conjunction with video game use is provided. The method includes identifying video game content of a video game and identifying commercial media content that is related to the video game content. The method further includes displaying an interactive menu through a screen of the video game. The interactive menu itemizes selectable commercial media content and provides a link to a commercial Internet website to enable purchase of the commercial media content.
