    摘要: An interactive projection system, apparatus, and methods for their use are provided. The system includes a projection unit that projects an image of a user interface onto a projection surface. At least one vision sensor is provided that is configured to sense a location of an infrared light source. A computing device that is configured to execute applications to provide the user interface and to determine corresponding outputs based on inputs received by the vision sensor is also provided. An infrared input device, or stylus, is employed by a user to provide infrared light inputs at desired locations with respect to the projected user interface. Additionally, a plurality of styli, each emitting a different respective wavelength of infrared light is also useable to provide multiple simultaneous inputs to the system. An equal plurality of vision sensors may also be employed to separately sense inputs from a respective stylus.

    摘要: The single use catheter has a lumen with a hydrophobic filter tip at one end. The lumen is divided into two parallel conduits. A first conduit terminates in a one-way valve. A syringe is attached to the one-way valve. Air, saline solution or sterilized water can be introduced through the one-way valve and inflate a cuff about the lumen. The second parallel conduit terminates in a charcoal filter for elimination of bowel gas. The one-way valve prevents deflation of the cuff unless the lumen is cut to allow the fluid from the cuff to exit and deflate the cuff.

    摘要: An interactive drawing tablet is provided having a housing and at least one surface on which printed media is mounted. A delivery device is electrically coupled to the interactive drawing tablet and is configured to hold a writing implement. An array of emitters are embedded in the surface and configured to emit signals. The delivery device is configured to receive the signals from the emitters when the delivery device is brought into proximity to the individual emitters and thereby determine a location on the printed media. The interactive drawing tablet is equipped with a speaker for emitting audio media to the user of the tablet. The interactive drawing tablet provides a user with instructions as to actions that should be taken with respect to the printed media.

    摘要: The invention provides a method of inhibiting neovascularization in a subject. The method comprises administering to the subject an agent that interferes with fibronectin (Fn) matrix assembly in an amount effective to inhibit neovascularization. The invention also provides a method of identifying an agent that inhibits neovascularization. The method comprises detecting fibronectin (Fn) matrix assembly by stimulated endothelial cells cultured in three-dimensional culture gel in the presence and absence of an agent. A decrease in Fn matrix assembly in the presence of the agent compared to Fn matrix assembly in the absence of the agent is indicative of an agent that inhibits neovascularization. Alternatively, the method of identifying an agent that inhibits neovascularization comprises detecting changes in nuclear architecture in stimulated endothelial cells cultured in three-dimensional culture gel in the presence and absence of an agent. A reduction in nuclear architecture organization identifies an agent that inhibits neovascularization.
