    摘要: A conductive resin belt includes at least one amorphous polymer selected from a first group consisting of polyether imide and polyether sulfone, at least one crystalline polymer selected from a second group consisting of polyether ether ketone and polyphenylene sulfide, at least one reactive polymer selected from a third group consisting of a copolymer of ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate and a polymer including an oxazoline group, and a conductivity imparting material. Surface resistivity of the conductive resin belt at 500V is 106 Ω/sq. Volume resistivity of the conductive resin belt at 100V is 106 Ω·cm to 1014 Ω·cm. A cross-section of the conductive resin belt includes a dispersion phase and a continuous phase. The reactive polymer exists at a concentration of 30% to 70% within 10 nm to 1 μm of an interface between the dispersion phase and the continuous phase.

    摘要: A developing roller of the present invention is made up of a nonmagnetic sleeve and a magnet roller disposed in the sleeve. The magnet roller includes a cylindrical magnet produced by molding a mixture of magnetic powder and a high polymer, and a single rare-earth magnet block mounted on the magnet at a position corresponding to a main magnetic pole for development. The cylindrical magnet is magnetized such that magnetic poles adjoining the main magnetic pole are opposite in polarity to the main pole. The main pole and each pole adjoining it make an angle of 45° or less therebetween.

    摘要: In a liquid crystal display device (LCD), a spacer is interposed between an upper and a lower substrate implemented by flexible films. Liquid crystals are confined in the gap between the two substrates. The spacer is scattered in the crystals at a density higher than 201/mm.sup.2 and lower than 800/mm.sup.2. The device allows a minimum of bubbles to be produced in the crystals without resorting to gas barrier coatings or similar conventional implementation against bubbles. When the spacer is sprayed, it is uniformly distributed to set up a uniform cell gap. The device is, therefore, free from display speckles and other defects and inexpensive.

    摘要: A developer carrier for an SLIC developing system includes a developing sleeve and a magnetic roll having a plurality of magnetic poles. A narrow development nip is formed by narrowing the width of a development pole forming a magnet brush and by narrowing a developer rising region in a developing region where a flux density attenuation ratio of the development pole is 40% or more. A half-value width of the flux density of the development pole is 22° or less and the flux density variation rate is 4.0 mT/Deg or more in a circumferential direction in a part where the flux density in at least half of that of a downstream side of a developer carrying direction from a peak magnetic force position of the development pole is 90% or less.
