摘要: A method for printing a three-dimensional part with an additive manufacturing system, which includes providing a part material that compositionally has one or more semi-crystalline polymers and one or more secondary materials that are configured to retard crystallization of the one or more semi-crystalline polymers, where the one or more secondary materials are substantially miscible with the one or more semi-crystalline polymers. The method also includes melting the part material in the additive manufacturing system, forming at least a portion of a layer of the three-dimensional part from the melted part material in a build environment, and maintaining the build environment at an annealing temperature that is between a glass transition temperature of the part material and a cold crystallization temperature of the part material.

摘要: The present invention relates to 3-D structures having high temperature stability and improved micro-porosity as well as processes of making and using same. The disclosed 3-D are advantageous because they have low densities and low permittivities. When compared to previous 3-D structures, the present structures maintain their low permittivities over a broader range of electromagnetic frequencies. Thus, when used in communication devices such as array antennas, can provided higher communication performance in high temperature environments.

摘要: A method for preparing a polygraphene membrane includes adding graphite and sodium nitrate into sulfuric acid to form a first mixture; adding potassium permanganate solution into the first mixture to form a second mixture; adding hydrogen peroxide solution to the second mixture to form a mixture including soluble manganese ions; filtering the mixture including soluble manganese ions to form an aqueous suspension; centrifuging the aqueous suspension; performing ultrasonication of the suspension to obtain graphene oxide sheets; acylating the graphene oxide sheets to prepare an acylated graphene oxide sheet; and polymerizing the acylated graphene oxide sheets to prepare polygraphene.

摘要: A ultrasonic welding method of joining dissimilar-material workpieces, such as sheet materials, and the joined components formed thereby. The method includes applying ultrasonic energy to a thermoplastic piece to fill a hole of a dissimilar piece to form a weld point that is made up with polymer from the thermoplastic piece. In general, the geometry of the thermoplastic piece is not altered during the process. The dissimilar piece generally has a higher melting temperate and can be metal, thermoset polymers, or other thermoplastic material. The welded pieces can be arranged in a lap, laminate, or double lap configuration. In some embodiments, the hole of the dissimilar sheet material includes undercut features that improve the mechanical interlock between the dissimilar pieces. In some embodiments, the weld point has a mushroom cap to improve mechanical interlock.

C. and under a load of 2.16 kg, [(PAEKHMF) polymer], from 0.1 to 50 wt. % of at least one poly(tetrafluoroethylene) polymer having a D50 particle size equal to or below 10.mu.m, and having a melt viscosity equal to or lower than 1.times.105 Pas at 372.degree. C., from 0 to 50% wt. % of at least one poly(aryl ether sulfone) polymer having a melt flow of at least 15 g/10 min at 365 degree C. and under a load of 5.0 kg, [(PAES) polymer], from 0 to 50% wt. % of at least one reinforcing filler, with the proviso that—should the composition (C) comprise a (PAES) polymer having MFR of more than 22 g/10 min, then the (PTFE) polymer is present in an amount of less than 40 wt. %, and—should the composition (C) comprise a (PAES) polymer having MFR of 22 g/10 min or less, then the (PTFE) polymer is present in an amount of less than 30 wt. %, and wherein all % are based on the total weight of the composition (C).

摘要: A method for producing a hollow fiber pre-product for a dialysis membrane is disclosed. The dialysis membrane includes a distribution of the pore sizes which follows an exponential function such as an e-function. The inverse value of the exponential coefficient (K) is at least 30 nm2. The dialysis membrane includes at least 50 pores per μm2 and the share of a free flow area at a surface of the dialysis membrane amounts to at least 2.5%.

An inner cover layer is disposed about the outer core layer and an outer cover layer is disposed about the inner cover layer.
