Abstract:
A powdery white vulcanization promoter composition which is excellent in storage stability, the resistance of blends thereof with rubbers or the like to heat build-up, and design; and rubber compositions containing the same. Specifically, a vulcanization promoter composition which comprises a modified calcium carbonate (A) surface-treated with a fatty acid or a resin acid and a silicic acid, an inorganic filler (B) exhibiting an oil absorption of as high as 50 to 300 ml/100 g, and a vulcanization promoter component (C) liquid at ordinary temperatures, characterized in that the (A):(B) mixing ratio is within the range of 30:70 to 95:5 and the content of (C) is 30 to 80 wt % based on the whole of the promoter composition.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing an adsorbent for the treatment of waste water, suitable for column packing, which is composed of a granular material obtained by subjecting an aqueous mixture of an activated sludge-containing material and the water-soluble primary condensate of a formaldehyde-type resin and/or an aldehyde compound to a curing treatment with an acid catalyst and a granulating operation. The adsorbent can advantageously be used in disposing of industrial waste water containing ionic or nonionic water pollutants such as heavy metal ions, dyes, surfactants, high molecular weight coagulants and mineral oils.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a plastic molded material having uniform foamed structure at a low price. To attain said object, a method comprising; mixing particle containing 30 to 70% by weight of water in thermoplastic resin, heating and melting said thermoplastic resin in which said particles containing water are mixed under a high pressure, releasing said high pressure to form foamed structure and cooling to solidify said foamed thermoplastic resin.

The invention provides an adsorbent suitable for column packing which is composed of a granular material obtained by subjecting a mixture of an activated sludge-containing material and a primary condensate of a formaldehyde type resin and/or a dialdehyde compound to heat-curing and granulating. The adsorbent can advantageously be used to treat industrial waste water containing ionic or nonionic water pollutants such as heavy metal ions, dyes, surfactants, high molecular weight coagulants and mineral oils.
