摘要: A jacketed firetube system for use in a process vessel such as a heater or heater/treater has a jacket which extends along the firetube, at a flame inlet end. The jacket can be external to the firetube or internal to the firetube. A heat transfer fluid is circulated along the firetube between the jacket and the firetube for recovering heat from the firetube and reducing the firetube's temperature. The recovered heat is reintroduced into the system.

摘要: A firetube is immersed in a fluid to be heated and transfers heat from hot gases flowing through the firetube to the fluid surrounding the firetube. The firetube has a plurality of thermally conductive passageways which extend through the firetube for increasing the surface area available for heat transfer. Fluid is conducted through the passageways by a thermosiphon effect resulting from a temperature differential in the vessel, the fluid below the firetube being cooler and denser than fluid above the heat exchanger.

摘要: A method, system and computer program product for analyzing and modifying a static timing slack of a timing path in a static timing analysis of a design of an integrated circuit (IC) with a transient power supply are disclosed. A static timing slack analysis is performed at a selected endpoint in an IC to obtain a candidate timing path leading to the endpoint with a worst static timing slack. A transient static timing slack is determined for the candidate timing path for each clock cycle of a clock signal under the transient power supply. The determined transient static timing slack is used to adjust the timing of the IC and to modify the static timing slack of the candidate timing path.

摘要: A heating system for heating liquids, stored in a tank at low ambient temperature, has a heating chamber with an inlet and an outlet for convectively flowing liquid past a flameless heater. Cold liquid is drawn through an inlet line, from the tank near its base and into a heating chamber, absorbs radiant energy from the heater as it travels therethrough. Heated liquid is circulated into the tank through an upper outlet from the heating chamber and back into the tank. Preferably, the heated liquid reenters the tank through a floating discharge flexibly connected to the upper outlet so as to remain dynamically in contact with the liquid at all times, thus avoiding airlocks which would interrupt the convective flow of liquid through the heating system.

The family of glasses all exhibit high radiopacity with refractive indices varying from 1.508-1.592 and translucency ranging from clear to moderately opaque. 摘要: Sound representations and winner-take-all codes of auditory spectra are used in the identification of audio content. A transformation component converts a set of sound frames from audio content into a set of spectral slices. A spectral encoder component encodes the spectral slices of auditory spectra into winner-take-all codes with a winner-take-all hash function. An identification component identifies which spectral dimension of a subset of spectral dimensions within a spectral slice has highest spectral value according to the winner-take-all codes. Reference audio content is determined to be similar or matching to the audio content based on the winner-take-all codes.
