    摘要: The invention provides a water heater WH including first and second connection target parts J1, J2 that are, as a means for connecting a burner unit BU and a heat exchanger HE, frame-like parts provided at opening edge parts of a first case 1 of the burner unit and a second case 2 of the heat exchanger, respectively, and sandwich a sealing member 5 to face and be connected with each other. An entire shape of the sealing member is frame-like corresponding to the first and second connection target parts, and a notched concave part 50 or a non-notched hole part 50A is formed at a portion thereof. A heat transfer convex part 15 is provided at at least one of the first and second connection targets, and protrudes to enter the concave part or the hole part to come into surface contact with the other.

    摘要: A heat exchanger having a cylindrical body comprising an upper section, a lower section, a side water jacket surrounding the upper and lower sections, a top water jacket disposed atop the upper section and a gas exhaust disposed below the lower section. A water cavity is disposed substantially in the lower section while a gas cavity having a burner is disposed substantially centrally within the gas cavity. A plurality of water tubes disposed in a ring formation, connect the water cavity through the gas cavity to the top water jacket and a plurality of gas tubes also disposed in ring formations, connect the gas cavity through the water cavity to the gas exhaust. At least one of the gas tubes ring has a diameter that is greater than that of the water tubes ring.

    摘要: Double cylinder walls are adjustably sealed to an exhaust gas conduit of any of a variety of hot water heating systems. An inner cylinder wall houses a water preheater pipe coil with an inner turbulator coil to circulate source water to be preheated by the exhaust gasses prior to feeding into the water heating system. An outer cylinder wall sealed to the inner cylinder wall prevents exhaust gas leakage from the inner cylinder wall from escaping. Insulation between the cylinder walls retains the heat within the inner cylinder for maximum preheating and an outer cylinder wall that is safe to the touch. A series of valves and pressure and flow gauges control the flow of water and diverts the flow or shuts down the preheater system or the entire hot water heating system as needed for failsafe operation.

    摘要: The heat exchanger (1) comprises a helical flow conduit (8) for a liquid, made with a pipe (9) of extruded thermally conductive material, provided with a pair of facing and mutually parallel fins (13), which extend from a portion of the outer surface thereof. This pipe (9) is helically wound about a longitudinal axis (A-A) such as to form a sequence of adjacent turns (10) separated by interspaces (11) through which, during use, hot gases, in particular combustion fumes, flow. The fins (13) extend helically, towards the outside relative to the axis (A-A) of the helical conduit (8), and have respective pluralities of through-openings (20, 21) which interconnect the region (16) comprised between them and the interspaces (11, 14) defined with respect to the adjacent turns (10). Flow paths are thus defined through these fins (13), outside the helical conduit (9), for the hot gases which during use pass through the interspaces (11, 14) between the turns of the helical conduit (8).
