The connector (1,10,16,21,26,31,36) comprises at least one pin (6,20,25,30,37) and at least one hook (5,8,9;11,14,15;17,18,19;22,23,24;27,28,29) attached to the at least one pin, the at least one pin is engaging the flush perforations in the strips in the connected state of these at the same time as the at least one hook is encompassing the strips, and the strips are detachably interconnected only by means of said at least one pin and said at least one hook. The connector has a simple construction and is able to easily and quickly connect two or more strips immediately in positions where co-operating perforations are flush with each other without the need to first pass the strips through the connector.

    摘要: A system for drilling a well comprises a tubular member having a bottomhole assembly at a bottom end thereof disposed in a wellbore. A first sensor is disposed in the bottomhole assembly at a predetermined axial location for detecting bending in a first axis and generating a first bending signal in response thereto, where the first axis is substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the bottomhole assembly. A second sensor is disposed in the bottomhole assembly at the predetermined axial location for detecting bending in a second axis and generating a second bending signal in response thereto, where the second axis is substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. A processor receives the first bending signal and the second bending signal and relates the first bending signal and the second bending signal to a borehole curvature according to programmed instructions.

    摘要: Examples of techniques for performing a wellbore construction operation in a wellbore are disclosed. In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method includes: performing a rheology test on a test fluid, the test fluid being representative of a fluid pumped through the wellbore, to generate test fluid data; performing, by the processing device, a data analysis on the test fluid data to generate at least one parameterized correlation; measuring a first property of the fluid to generate measured data; calculating, by the processing device, a second property of the fluid in the wellbore by using the parameterized correlations and the measured data to generate calculated data; and changing a parameter of the wellbore construction operation based at least in part on the calculated data.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for estimating a geometry of a borehole penetrating the earth. The method includes: performing a plurality of borehole caliper measurements with N transducers at a plurality of times, wherein for each time a measurement set comprises measurements made by the N transducers at that time; dividing a cross-section of the borehole into S sectors; obtaining an estimate of the borehole geometry by connecting representative radius points in adjacent sectors; displacing each measurement set according to a displacement vector related to an offset of each measurement set from the estimated geometry if the displacement vector exceeds a selection criterion; iterating the obtaining an estimate of the borehole geometry and the displacing each measurement set based on a latest displacement vector; and providing a latest obtained estimate as the geometry of the borehole when all of the displacement vectors no longer exceed the selection criterion for the displacing.
