    摘要: There is provided a wireless communication system that includes two information communication terminals with built-in IC chips engaged in alternating wireless communication with each other through noncontact communication, wherein one of the information communication terminals includes a reception unit that receives a packet originating from the other information communication terminal, a transmission unit that wirelessly transmits a single packet or a plurality of packets to the other information communication terminal by transmitting all packets that can be transmitted to the other information communication terminal instead of engaging in alternating wireless communication if a specific condition is satisfied and an identifier appending unit that appends a last packet identifier to a packet to be transmitted last from the transmission unit among all the packets that can be transmitted to the other information communication terminal.

    摘要: A client (such as a PC, portable telephone, PDA, electrical appliances), to which a device such as a IC card is connected, starts a handshake protocol to request a server to start communication. When communication is established via the handshake protocol, the initiative of communication is transferred to the server, and the state changes into a neutral state. In this neutral state, a control packet including a particular number of messages and a finished message is transmitted from the server to the client. If the client receives the control packet, the client performs a process according to the messages included in the control packet. This makes it possible to remotely control a device via a network in a highly reliable and efficient manner.

    摘要: A data communication system includes an IC card function execution unit, a card reading/writing device, and an information processing terminal. The IC card function execution unit has a controller that causes the card reading/writing device to execute a data transfer operation to a memory in the IC card function execution unit through a contactless interface or causes the information processing terminal to execute a data transfer operation to the memory through a wired interface. The controller executes a data transfer between the card reading/writing device and the information processing terminal on a communication path composed of the contactless interface and the wired interface through the IC card function execution unit interposed therebetween. When the IC card function execution unit receives data from the information processing terminal through the wired interface, the IC card function execution unit directly transmits the data to the card reading/writing device through the contactless interface.

    摘要: A data transmission-reception system includes a reader-writer, a first contactless IC chip being a data source, and a second contactless IC chip being a data destination, capable of communication with the first contactless IC chip via the reader-writer. The first and second contactless IC chips each have data areas of the same applications in memories built therein. The first contactless IC chip includes first generating means for performing authentication by the use of data encrypted with a key generated by combination of keys to generate a transfer key and transmitting means for encrypting data to be transferred with the transfer key and transmitting the encrypted data.     摘要: The present invention provides a portable information terminal having installed therein an IC chip. The portable information terminal includes an internal memory disposed within the IC chip driven by using power supplied via a reader/writer, which is impossible to be accessed from outside the IC chip, an external memory driven by using power from an external power source installed outside the IC chip and a data management unit that controls data write processing or data read processing executed to write data into or read data from the internal memory or the external memory in correspondence to the power supply state pertaining to the external memory. The data management unit selects data with a high access frequency or a high priority among a plurality of sets of data recorded in the external memory and records the selected data into the internal memory.
