    摘要: Devices, methods and systems for stabilizing at least a portion of the spinal column are provided. Devices include anchors and coupling members for engaging an elongate member. Systems include an elongate member sized to span a distance between at least two vertebral bodies and being at least partially formed of a flexible material. A number of anchors and coupling members are used to secure the elongate member to each of the vertebral bodies. The anchors can be compressed towards one another and the elongate member secured thereto and/or the elongate member can be tensioned to provide corrective forces to the spine.

    摘要: A pair of bone attachment devices and a crosslink device for a spinal fixation system or other implant arrangement is provided that extends between and engages the bone attachment devices with engaging members. The bone attachment devices include a receiver portion and the crosslink device includes a pair of elongated bridging members each having a pivotally attached connector for connecting to the bone attachment devices at various planar elevations. An interconnection device situated between the connectors receives the members and allows translational and rotational adjustment of the members relative to one another.

    摘要: A reduction system and method is disclosed for reducing a displaced vertebra between adjacent vertebrae. The system can include an anchor 60 placed in the displaced vertebra 70b, a cable 11 attached to the anchor 60 and a clamping member 50 which can selectively engage or disengage the cable 11 to maintain its position. The clamping member can be seated in a rod connector 58 attached to a rod 80 running along the longitudinal axis of the spinal column. A tensioning force can be applied to the cable 11 to pull vertebra 70b toward the rod 80. Once the vertebra 70b is pulled into the desired position, the anchor can be secured to the rod to maintain the position of the vertebra and the reduction apparatus is removed.

    摘要: Embodiments of an orthopedic implant assembly include an apparatus having a receiver member and a fixation member. The receiver member includes first and second branches which define a channel extending along a longitudinal axis. The channel is configured to receive an elongated member. Additionally, the fixation member can include a threaded portion configured to engage bone. The orthopedic implant system can further include a one-step locking mechanism operably connected with the receiver member, the locking mechanism being configured to lock an elongated member in the channel. The locking mechanism includes a first closure device operably connected with the first branch and a second closure device operably connected with the second branch. The first and second closure devices are configured to cooperate with each other along a lateral axis to lock an elongated member in the channel. In certain embodiments, the lateral axis does not intersect the longitudinal axis.
