Abstract:
A medical instrument for use in EMR and ESD procedures includes a proximal handle having an electrical connection plug, a slidable handle portion, and a rotatable handle portion. The medical instrument includes a sheath extending from the proximal handle, the sheath comprising a lumen and a distal end away from the proximal handle. A cutting assembly extends through the sheath and comprises a wire and a working end. The cutting assembly and sheath are moveable relative to each other to cover and reveal the working end such that the working end has a retracted position and a working position. The working end comprises a flexible knife comprising a distal end, a proximal end, and an insulated portion. An insulated spear-shaped tip is provided at the distal end of the flexible knife, the insulated spear-shaped tip preventing cutting of a layer other than a mucosal layer or a submucosal layer.
Abstract:
A method includes simulating network resources of a portion of a cloud in a simulated cloud within a enterprise network, the cloud being communicable with the enterprise network over a first communication channel, which may be external to the enterprise network. The method can also include simulating network behavior of the first communication channel in a second communication channel within the enterprise network, and validating application performance in the simulated cloud. Simulating network resources includes providing a cloud resources abstraction layer in the enterprise network, and allocating enterprise network resources in the enterprise network to the simulated cloud by the cloud resources abstraction layer. The method further includes adding a virtual network service appliance to the simulated cloud, and determining a change to a network topology of the enterprise network to accommodate the virtual appliance without materially impacting application performance.
Abstract:
Embodiments are disclosed that relate to the correction of an estimated pose determined from depth image data. One disclosed embodiment provides, on a computing system, a method of obtaining a representation of a pose of articulated object from image data capturing the articulated object. The method comprises receiving the depth image data, obtaining an initial estimated skeleton of the articulated object from the depth image data, applying a random forest subspace regression function to the initial estimated skeleton, and determining the representation of the pose based upon a result of applying the random forest subspace regression to the initial estimated skeleton.
Abstract:
A system and method of transmitting electronic voucher through short message. The method of transmitting an electronic voucher through a short message includes converting an electronic voucher to be transmitted into a bit stream; mapping each n-bits of the bit stream to any one text character of one of a plurality of text character groups, wherein text characters in each of the text character groups have at least one same or similar feature, and bit number n corresponding to each text character depends on the number m of the text character groups; arranging the text characters obtained through the mapping into a character sequence; and transmitting the character sequence through a short message. The present invention greatly reduces the cost for issuing an electronic voucher, significantly increases the convenience and apparently improves the safety and the stability.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates generally to real-time traffic prediction and/or estimation using GPS data with low sampling rates. In various examples, real-time traffic prediction and/or estimation using GPS data with low sampling rates may be implemented in the form of systems, methods and/or algorithms.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing is disclosed. An exemplary method includes providing a substrate and forming one or more layers over the substrate. The method further includes forming a surface layer over the one or more layers. The method further includes performing a patterning process on the surface layer thereby forming a pattern on the surface layer. The method further includes performing a cleaning process using a cleaning solution to clean a top surface of the substrate. The cleaning solution includes tetra methyl ammonium hydroxide (TMAH), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and water (H2O).
Abstract:
A testing device for identifying an antigen or antibody within a biofluid sample including: a substrate having a hydrophilic surface thereon; the surface including a collection zone, and at least one detection zone extending therefrom; wherein the biofluid sample can be mixed with a specific antigen or antibody, and deposited on the collection zone and transferred by capillary action to the detection zone; the antigen or antibody in the biofluid sample reacting with an appropriate said antibody or antigen thereby resulting in a visual indication within the detection zone.
Abstract:
A method of forming a through silicon via (TSV) structure includes forming an interconnect pad over a substrate. An under layer is formed over the interconnect pad. A vertical conductive post is formed at least partially through the substrate. At least one dummy structure is formed at least partially through the under layer. A top pad is formed over the dummy structure and the vertical conductive post. The top pad covers a wider area than a cross section of the vertical conductive post. The interconnect pad is electrically connected to the top pad. The dummy structure connects the top pad and the under layer thereby fastening the top pad and the interconnect pad.
