    摘要: Biodegradable polymer compositions suitable for intraperitoneal administration to treat a mammalian subject having ovarian cancer are described, wherein the polymer compositions provide extended release of the antineoplastic agent into the peritoneum of the subject. The subject compositions can increase the median survival rate from the cancer by at least about 10%, as compared with the median survival rate obtained by administration of a composition comprising the same dosage of the antineoplastic agent without the biodegradable polymer. Solid articles and methods for treating ovarian cancer are also described.

    摘要: Polymeric drug conjugates in controlled release matrices are provided which allow sustained concentrations of therapeutic agents within a treated area for a prolonged period. The polymeric drug conjugates hydrolytically degrade in the extracellular space in a controlled, pre-specified pattern, releasing active drug. The conjugates diffuse within the tissue reaching a greater distance from the matrix than free drug would, because of their reduced rate of clearance from the tissue via the capillary system.

    摘要: A resource allocation method and apparatus of a multi-relay orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system are disclosed. The resource allocation method of a multi-relay orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system includes: obtaining actual channel information; obtaining resource allocation parameters according to a mathematical optimization problem based on the actual channel information, where the resource allocation parameters include at least two of subcarrier power allocation, relay selection and subcarrier pairing, and the mathematical optimization problem is a mathematical optimization problem set for the subcarrier power allocation, relay selection and subcarrier pairing by using an end-to-end transmission rate optimization principle and based on channel information; and transmitting a signal according to the resource allocation parameters. The foregoing technical solutions optimize system performance.

    摘要: Biodegradable, flowable or flexible polymer compositions are described comprising a polymer having the recurring monomeric units shown in formula I: wherein: each of R and R′ is independently straight or branched alkylene, either unsubstituted or substituted with one or more non-interfering substituents; L is a divalent cycloaliphatic group; R″ is selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, aryloxy, heterocyclic or heterocycloxy; and n is 5 to 1,000, wherein said biodegradable polymer is biocompatible before and upon biodegradation. In one embodiment, one or more of R, R′ or R″ is a biologically active substance. Amorphous compositions containing a biologically active substance, in addition to the polymer, and methods for controllably releasing biologically active substances using the compositions, are also described.
