摘要： A device for processing a carcass part of slaughtered poultry in a processing line is provided. The carcass part is supported on a carrier that moves in the processing line. The carcass part includes wing-joints, coracoids, a wishbone embodied with two legs that merge into each other at an acute angle, a keelbone, a membrane and/or ligament that connects at least to the wishbone and the keel-bone, and naturally present meat including inner and outer fillets. The device includes means for cutting and/or removing of the wishbone from the carcass part. The device is arranged such that the means for cutting and/or removing of the wishbone can be a knife equipped to cut the wishbone and disconnect it from the membrane and/or ligament with an increased yield of meat that is retained on the carcass part. In one embodiment, the knife is arranged with cutting side-edges and is further shaped with an S-shaped contour to arrange that when same is introduced between the legs of the wishbone up to its eventual position wherein the arrow's point of the knife approaches the part where the legs of the wishbone merge into each other, the cutting side-edges of the knife cut the legs of the wishbone at a position immediately adjacent to the wing joints to which the wishbone connects.

摘要： The present invention relates to pressure sensitive adhesive compositions prepared from novel anionic block copolymers of aromatic vinyl compounds and conjugated dienes. The block copolymers are a mixture of a high molecular weight linear and/or radial block copolymer component (SBC1 and/or SBC2), and a diblock copolymer component (D1). The block copolymer may be combined with other block copolymers, tackifying resins, oils and other components to form the adhesives of the present invention. The pressure sensitive adhesives of the present invention maintain their performance at elevated temperatures and fail cohesively making them particularly useful for die-cuttable label applications. The pressure sensitive adhesives compositions may also comprise ester plasticizers typically used for PVC and thus make adhesives particularly suitable for PVC film labels and decals.

摘要： A filleting device and method for harvesting fillets from poultry carcasses that are moved in a conveyer-line supported on carriers is provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the first guide rails are provided to guide at least a part of the fillets so as to increase this part's distance from the carcass and break the tissue connections that connect the fillet or fillets in their natural position to the keel-bone of the carcass. Flexible elements are provided that complete the harvesting of the fillets by peeling the fillets entirely loose from the keel-bone.

The method can include scraping the backmeat loose from the carcass or carcass part whereby a connection is maintained with fillets of the carcass or carcass part. Prior to the filleting of the carcass or carcass part a neck portion of a backbone of the carcass or carcass parts is fixed in position, whereby thereafter the backmeat is scraped loose from the carcass or carcass part.

摘要： A scalding apparatus for poultry includes an overhead conveyor for moving poultry, suspended by their legs, through an immersion tank filled with scald water. A filtering device and pumping unit can be used to withdraw the scald water, clean the scald water, and reintroduce the scald water to the tank. Upwardly directed nozzles, located in the bottom of the tank, provided a stream of scald water directed up and over the poultry. A reversing guide may be provided for redirecting the scald water downwards to the poultry. The immersion tank may be divided into chambers.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for preventing or restricting oil spills from oil tankers. The process comprises application of block copolymer particles having a high active surface in the form of fine particles or a fluffy structure. The block copolymer has at least one predominantly poly(vinyl aromatic compound) block and at least one predominantly poly(conjugated diene) block. The process may comprise introduction of the block copolymer into damaged compartments of the ship and permanent placement of the block copolymer in the double hull space of the ship. The process may further comprise automatic introduction of the block copolymer upon detection of a hard shock or high temperatures.
