摘要： Headbox for a paper-making machine including a nozzle extending transversely to the machine running direction across the machine width. The nozzle has a lower and an upper continuous wall each extending across the machine width. The lower nozzle wall is supported by several separate supporting elements distributed across the machine width on a foundation. The supporting elements are non-rigid or flexible plates to permit bending in a direction transversely to the machine running direction. Alternatively or additionally, a swivelable or pivotable upper nozzle wall is connected by several separate supporting members distributed across the machine width to a transverse bar attached above a swivel axis. Alternatively or additionally, an upper arm and a central part of a central component of the headbox are each segmented transversely to the machine running direction, while an inlet-side central part of the central component and the lower nozzle wall are each designed to be continuous transverse to the machine running direction.

摘要： Apparatus for treatment of a fiber material web with a press gap formed by rolls, wherein at least one of the rolls comprises an adjustable deflection roll with a flexible roll jacket supported in the pressing force plane on a plurality of support elements. A plurality of independent pressing force correction sections that at least substantially do not influence one another are formed over the length of the press gap by the cooperation of the support elements, in particular, hydraulic support elements and associated sections of a roll jacket having inadequate compliance. Preferably the width of the individual correction sections along the press gap lies in the region of 25 mm to 130 mm, and preferably amounts to approximately 50 mm.

There is also provided a regulation arrangement for regulating the position of the roll shell, wherein the position of the roll shell at least at both of its opposed ends is detected by position sensors or feelers and deviations from a set or reference value are processed into two adjustment or positioning magnitudes which act upon the support or pressure elements. Both of the adjustment magnitudes are formed while taking into account a possible difference between both of the reference value-actual value differences and thereafter weighted and grouped together with further adjustment magnitudes and inputted to the support or pressure elements.

A reel-spool receives the wound-up paper roll or package and a contact or press device presses the reel-spool in the direction of the cylinder. An endless band arrangement is guided such that it extends over the cylinder between its surface and the paper web, the band arrangement in conjunction with the paper web being wrapped about part of the circumference or outer surface of the cylinder and extends between the cylinder and the reel-spool or, as the case may be, the paper roll or package wound upon the reel-spool. The band arrangement also encloses the paper roll or the reel-spool along part of its circumference.

The tubular roll shell bears upon the roll support or carrier through the intermediary of at least one bearing or support element. The roll shell is provided at its ends with guide members which are rotatably mounted in the roll shell and which are guided on the roll support in the direction of the pressing or contact movement or the disengaging or lift-off movement of the roll shell. The controlled-deflection roll is provided with a scraper device equipped with a scraper blade which, during operation, is in contact with the surface of the roll shell, and the scraper device is secured to the guide members.

摘要： The invention relates to a roll press including at least three rolls forming several press nips for the treatment of a web of material. One press roll comprises a very flexible roll shell which is rotatable around a fixed support and is mounted on the support by at least one support element which has a concave support surface for defining a wide press nip with a cylindrical backing roll. The backing roll forms an additional press nip with at least one not sag-controlled roll. To obtain as uniform as possible a press nip between the backing roll and at least one additional roll which is without sag control, the circumference of the roll shell of the backing roll decreases axially towards its ends, i.e., that roll may be crowned. In addition, the backing roll may have its own roll shell support elements which are either in the press plane or are inclined slightly out of the press plane and/or the hydraulic pressure fluid supplied to the press roll and to the backing roll is adapted to supply a greater pressing force by the press roll. Optionally, a fourth press roll may form a nip with the additional roll. A felt passes through each nip.

摘要： Support components or supports for supporting calender rolls for treating web-shaped materials comprise walls which surround a roll stand of the calender and are slidably arranged at guideways provided at the roll stand. Each support component supports an associated calender roll having a predetermined diameter, and a predetermined support length of each support component in a predetermined direction of the guideways is greater than the predetermined diameter of the associated calender roll. The walls of adjacent support components define a predetermined numbr of pairs of mutually facing edges. At least one pair of mutually facing edges between two adjacent support components contains projections and complementary shaped recesses. When such two adjacent support components are slidably displaced toward one another, the projections extend into the correspondingly structured complementary shaped recesses. By virtue of the predetermined support length of the support components being greater than the average predetermined roll diameter, there is substantially prevented a canting or jamming of the support components during displacement thereof along the guideways.
