摘要: Techniques for optimizing a guided edit process for editing a member profile page are described. According to various embodiments, incomplete member profile fields in a member profile associated with member of an online social networking service are identified. Profile completion score weight values associated with the incomplete member profile fields in the member profile are then determined. Thereafter, the incomplete member profile fields in the member profile are ranked, based on the profile completion score weight values associated with each of the incomplete member profile fields. A list of one or more of the highest ranked incomplete member profile fields are then displayed, together with a prompt recommending the member to complete the identified incomplete member profile fields.

摘要: A method for transporting/receiving notification messages via File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (FLUTE) includes: At the transmitting end, a server carries a notification content in a transport object and carries notification related information and a transport object identifier (TOI) of the transport object carrying the notification content in a first file description table (FDT), and then sends the first FDT and the transport object carrying the notification content in a FLUTE session; the receiving end obtains the notification related information and the TOI of the transport object carrying the notification content from the first FDT, and receives the transport object carrying the notification content according to the obtained related information and the TOI. A server for transporting notification messages via FLUTE, a FLUTE server, a content server and a terminal are also disclosed. With the present invention, the notification transport procedure is simpler and the reliability of notification transport is better.

摘要: Computer-readable media, computer systems, and computing devices method of facilitating presentation of alternative query suggestions. The method includes referencing an initial query having a plurality of terms. A term(s) to remove from the initial query is identified, for example, based at least on a number of times the term(s) occur in previous queries. The initial query is modified by removing the term(s) from the initial query. Thereafter, the modified query is used to identify an alternative query suggestion(s) that includes at least one term that matches at least one term of the modified query.
