    摘要: A washing apparatus that easily washes off metal impurities from a porous metal substrate used as an electrode plate core for an alkaline battery. The washing apparatus includes a liquid bath container which holds a solution for washing off the metal impurities. A guide guides movement of the porous metal substrate in the solution held in the liquid bath container. The porous metal substrate is wound into a hoop in a coil-shaped manner, and the guide guides the movement of a sheet portion of the porous metal substrate unwound from the hoop. A winding mechanism winds the sheet portion after being fed through the liquid bath container.

    摘要: An electrode group winding method and device for batteries provides for winding continuous belt-shaped anode plates, cathode plates and separators into groups of spiral electrodes by means of a turnable winding core. In a specified position in the vicinity of the winding core, an edge of a belt-shaped electrode plate is detected by an edge position detector for comparison with a reference position, and a chuck movable from an end of the electrode plate in a running direction of the electrode plate and a perpendicular direction thereof is used to grip the electrode plated based on the comparison result to correct the edge position of the electrode plate. Then, a second chuck restricted in its movement to only a direction parallel to the moving direction of the electrode plate by a guide is used to hold the electrode plate. Then, a third chuck is used to hold the electrode plate to supply the tip end of the electrode plate to the winding core, and winding into groups of electrodes is completed while preventing the edge position deviations of electrode plates by the second chuck and applying tension to electrode plates, thereby providing a winding method and device capable of winding electrode plates with minimum winding deviations. In addition, the sectional shape at right angles with the winding core shaft is made generally hexagonal so as to improve flatness required when electrode groups are aligned flat.

    摘要: A mass spectrometer for a liquid chromatograph includes an atomization chamber into which a liquid sample from the liquid chromatograph is sprayed to be converted into ions, an intermediate chamber at a reduced inner pressure and a detection chamber containing a mass analyzer. A solvent-removing tube is between the atomization chamber and the intermediate chamber for causing liquid droplets containing these ions to pass through. A deflector with at least one pair of planar electrodes is disposed inside the intermediate chamber and opposite each other sandwiching in between the travel path of the ions. Voltage sources apply a variable DC voltage to the solvent-removing tube and different variable DC voltages to each of the electrodes. Data on voltages to be applied to the solvent-removing tube and to the electrodes for optimizing efficiency with which ions with different mass numbers are received by the mass analyzer are preliminarily obtained by using standard samples and stored in a memory device. A control unit serves to apply a specified voltage to the mass analyzer and simultaneously controls the voltage sources so as to have selected voltages applied to the solvent-removing tube and to the electrodes, according to the data stored in the memory.

    摘要: A liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer includes a solvent removing tube, a first ion lens and a second ion lens. Voltages applied to the solvent removing tube, and the first and second ion lenses corresponding to each mass number of a standard sample are studied in advance so that efficiencies of passing ions become best. A voltage scanning pattern is made based on the impressed voltages, and stored in a memory portion. When a scanning measurement is carried out, a control portion controls a current voltage source and a high frequency voltage source according to the voltage scanning pattern, synchronizing with the scanning of the impressed voltage to the quadrupole filter. As a result of the control, an objective ion which is generated by being atomized from a nozzle may effectively pass through the entrance of a quadrupole filter.
