    摘要: An engine control apparatus is provided that controls an engine which is restarted using an AC motor. The engine control apparatus comprises an engine rotational direction determining section, a restart command determining section and an engine restart prohibiting section. The engine rotational direction determining section is configured to determine a rotational direction of the engine. The restart command determining section is configured to determine if a restart command occurred while a rotational speed of the engine is decreasing due to an idle stop command. The engine restart prohibiting section is configured to selectively prohibit the engine from being restarted by the AC motor in response to the restart command upon determining the engine is rotating backward.

    摘要: A bubble generator to bring out performance of a Doppler ultrasonic flowmeter to the maximum extent is provided.The bubble generator is provided with a bubble generation member generating bubbles suitable for a predetermined frequency of an ultrasonic pulse emitted into a fluid to be measured and feeding the bubbles into the fluid pipe, and a uniform dispersion member dispersing the bubbles fed uniformly in the pipe, the bubble generator is installed on an upstream side of the fluid pipe with respect to an ultrasonic transducer. The bubble generation member has a Venturi tube, and the uniform dispersion member has a negative pressure generating device, in which the fluid to be measured drawn out by the uniform dispersion member from inside the fluid pipe is returned into the fluid pipe together with the bubbles fed into the fluid pipe via the Venturi tube.

    摘要: A Doppler type ultrasonic flowmeter has an ultrasonic transmitting means for emitting ultrasonic pulses from an ultrasonic transducer into a fluid pipe, a flow velocity profile measuring means for receiving an ultrasonic echo reflected from a measurement region in the fluid pipe thereby to measure a flow velocity profile of a fluid to be measured, a fluid flow rate computing means for calculating the flow rate thereof on the basis of the flow velocity profile of the fluid to be measured, and a frequency selecting and setting means for automatically selecting a fundamental frequency of an ultrasonic wave that causes a resonant transmission phenomenon to take place from the ultrasonic transducer. The frequency selecting and setting means controls the operation of the ultrasonic transmitting means such that an ultrasonic wave of a selected optimum frequency is emitted from the ultrasonic transducer. This arrangement makes it possible to provide a highly versatile Doppler type ultrasonic flowmeter that permits simple, easy, contactless, precise and highly accurate measurement of the flow rates of fluids to be measured that are flowing in various fluid pipes.
