Abstract:
A energy dissipating metal plate joins a pair of target members and exhibits energy dissipating performance corresponding to a relative displacement between the target members. The energy dissipating metal plate includes: a first joint part to be joined to one of the target members; a second joint part to be joined to other of the target members; and vibration dissipating parts which are provided on a transmission path of tensile force and compression force between the first joint part and the second joint part, and which have slits. Each of the first joint part and the second joint part is formed in a strip shape substantially parallel to a direction of the relative displacement.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a joining structure of a roof truss using thin light-gauge shaped steel. In a joining structure for joining a subsidiary roof with a main roof, a valley bracket formed by bending a thin steel sheet is inserted and disposed in the longitudinal valley direction of a joining member for joining a rafter forming the subsidiary roof with a truss or a rafter forming the main roof. In a joining structure in which a roof truss upper chord member or a rafter intersects a wall on the upper surface of the wall, a bracket formed by bending a thin steel sheet is disposed at the intersection of these members and fixes the roof truss upper chord member or the rafter to the wall. In a joining structure for the connecting top of the roof truss upper chord member or the rafter, a thin steel sheet member is disposed at the connecting top to fix an end of the roof truss upper chord member or the rafter with an end of a strut, and a box-shaped bracket formed by bending a thin steel sheet to have box-like receiving sections is provided at a top of the thin steel sheet member, for fixing top cleat members.
Abstract:
A building including a metal joint is provided with a damping member that is mounted between at least a pair of structures and yields in accordance with relative displacement between the structures. The damping member includes strength-suppression device that suppresses an increase of strength after yield, and exerts a damping effect with rocking or expansion and contraction of at least one of the structures.
Abstract:
A joint fitting 1 between members comprising a single bolt 4 having a length enabling it to be arranged vertically oriented bridging an upper floor vertical frame member and a lower floor vertical frame member at intervals along the axial direction. Joint hardware 7 is fastened to vertical frame members of the floors arranged at the upper floor side and lower floor side. Side opening grooves in the joint hardware 7 detachable receive the bolt. The attached joint hardware 7 is able to be fastened positioned along the longitudinal direction of the bolt 4. The joint hardware 7 is arranged at the upper and lower floors with the joint hardware being butted against vertical side surfaces of the vertical frame members 11 of the floors and fastened by drill screws 24 or other fasteners.
Abstract:
The present invention provides construction configurations and a construction method for steel houses that eliminate the shortcoming of the conventional platform construction method for steel houses that complicates the structure because of the need to use metal reinforcements without losing the advantage of the conventional method that facilitates the construction work by using wall panels. After constructing the ground story wall (lower story wall) 22 by attaching wall panels 21 for the ground story to through vertical frame studs 20 extending to upper floors, the second story wall (upper story wall) 23 is constructed by attaching wall panels 21 for the upper story to the through vertical frame studs 20. Of the wall panels 21 disposed along the four sides of the lower story, the top ends 29 of the two opposite wall panels 21b are positioned lower than the top ends 29a of the lower story wall panels 21a on the other two opposite sides. Both ends of the floor panel 24 are mounted on the lower top ends 29 of the wall panels 21b.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a joint structure for a building using thin and lightweight shaped-steel, and, in particular, provides a joint structure for fastening and fixing frame members made of thin and lightweight shaped-steel to steel sills and a bolt joint truss structure for forming a main structure of a roof, sufficiently durable against a large earthquake or a strong wind such as a typhoon. A joint structure of a building using thin and lightweight shaped-steel is provided wherein, in a joint portion for fastening a steel frame member for forming a wall to a steel floor sill, a steel reinforcing member having a cross-sectional area in a range from 70 to 100% of a cross-sectional area of the steel frame member is inserted into the joint portion and fixed thereto. Also, a joint structure of a building using thin and lightweight shaped-steel is provided, wherein upper chord members, lower chord members and lattice members of light and lightweight shaped-steel are combined to form a truss structure, wherein a joint portion of the upper chord member, lower chord member and lattice member has at least one joint through-hole, and wherein the joint portions of the respective members are connected together to form a joint and a fastener is inserted into the joint through-hole to fasten and fix the respective members to each other.
Abstract:
The invention provides a metal joint connecting a pair of subject members relatively displaceable in one direction, a metal joint connecting a pair of subject members relatively displaceable in one direction, the metal joint comprising: multiple first attachment portions attached to one of the subject members; a second attachment portion attached to an other of the subject members; and multiple plate portions connecting between the first attachment portions and the second attachment portion to each other, wherein an attachment direction of each of the first attachment portions with respect to one subject member and an attachment direction of the second attachment portion with respect to the other subject member are set so that a surfaces of the plate portions follow a direction of the relative displacement.
Abstract:
A panel structure of a steel house built by constructing multi-story structural frameworks by forming wall panels by fastening face members to rectangular frames of light-gage channels of sheet steels, constructing walls of each story by disposing said wall panels along the four sides of a rectangle, and assembling said wall panels and a floor panel consisting of a wall plate mounted on floor joists, the panel structure characterized in that side ends of said floor panel are connected to the inner upper end of the wall panels of the lower story, and the end edges of the wall panels of the upper and lower stories on at least two opposite sides of said four sides are butt-joined.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for assembling structural members of thin and lightweight shaped steel, the thin and lightweight shaped-steel members to be assembled having at least one joint hole or concave/convex portion at an appropriate position of a flange or web of the thin and lightweight shaped steel member, and temporarily joining portions of the thin and lightweight shaped steel members to each other for easy assembly.
