Abstract: A composite membrane for selectively pervaporating a first liquid from a mixture comprising the first liquid and a second liquid. The composite membrane includes a porous substrate comprising opposite first and second major surfaces, and a plurality of pores. A PVP- or PVL-containing polymer is disposed in at least some of the pores so as to form a layer having a thickness within the porous substrate and/or disposed on top of the pores to form a layer.

Abstract: A thermal insulation/protection barrier that provides thermal insulation and protection to battery cells of a battery assembly. The barrier includes a cured silicone rubber foam layer comprising a plurality of firming particles disposed within the silicone rubber foam layer in an amount sufficient to impart additional firmness to the silicone rubber foam layer so that it takes a greater compressive force to compress the foam layer to a desired compression value, compared to the same silicone rubber foam layer without the firming particles.

Abstract: To provide an electromagnetic shielding material that has excellent shape following properties and can exhibit high electromagnetic wave shielding properties even in a deformed portion. A flexible magnetic film fabric (100) of one embodiment includes a plurality of first magnetic strips (10) extending in a first direction (11) and arranged substantially in parallel at a first pitch P1 along a second direction (12) orthogonal to the first direction (11); and a plurality of second magnetic strips (20) extending in a third direction (21) different from the first direction (11) and arranged substantially in parallel at a second pitch P2 along a fourth direction (22) orthogonal to the third direction (21). Each of the first magnetic strips (10) has a first average width W1, W1/P1 being from 0.05 to 0.98, and each of the second magnetic strips (20) has a second average width W2, W2/P2 being from 0.05 to 0.98.
